Agreed. I also installed the Rocjoc drop bracket and used the OEM track bar. Aligned perfectly. No plans for higher speed runs also so these are great for my use case.
Considering adding the diff drop. I don’t think the angles are too extreme but may just prolong the life of the CV’s.
Nice. I did the same set with the HD springs a month ago. I also dialed them way down. I am a non SAS Badlands so my factory 33’s look really small. Have 35-skinnies 35x11.50/17 on order.
Ride quality is a big improvement over the HOSS 2.0. Much smoother and soaks up the small imperfections...
I have also ran both types. I had an ARB twin mounted and plumbed to a bumper chuck with an in cab dash switch. Super convenient. Sold that Toyota build and am back to using my old Viair 400 with alligator battery clamps On the Bronco. Not as fast or convenient but not slumming it either.
I...
Good information on the OEM non-SAS wheels. I am 2.5“ lifted on Eibach HDs and plan to run 35/11.50’s on the stock wheel. just like how they look and want to keep my width narrow. Doesn’t look terrible with the stock BFG KO2’s.
One step closer to wrapping up the bumper/winch install. Got the winch isolation solenoid wired and the winch rope tensioned. Aux switch #6 is the winch. Thanks Rob AKA Felix808 for showing me your rig and sharing some mod wisdom.
Have to agree with the Eibach Pro 2.0 suggestion for your use case if you are set on changing the suspension instead of just airing down which is also a great no cost idea.
i just swapped to the Eibach with the HD springs due to heavy bumper/winch and camping gear/ utility trailer towing. From...
Congrats on the new rig. I really enjoy the 7MT. Has to be one of the easiest manual transmissions to drive. Almost cheating. I did add a Twisted shift knob which churched it up a bit.
Enjoy!
Dusty ironically I just watched your diff drop video on YouTube. Great video so thanks for that.
I just installed my winch on Saturday. Very tight fit between the grill plastics and the fairlead mounting plate and I actually ended up doing some grinding on my brand new Zeon 10S winch to make it...
For sale is a capable bumper with fog lights (no wire harness) and the OEM skid plate with bolts and mounting brackets. Both are in great shape.
No shipping will be entertained. Willing to do some driving to help out if needed from Kitsap County Washington.
These came off my 2025 Bronco...
It did come with the plugs but I have some paint touch ups after the install. Damned thing is heavy and I scratched it up a bit. Easy rattle can fix.
I am happy with it although without a winch it looks goofy from the side. Will be addressing this soon.
Understanding that this is an older thread but addressing the OP for bumper info, just got the Icon Impact Armor Winch Bumper installed with the skid plate. No winch installed yet.
Quality of the bumper is very high. Entire bumper is 3/16” with excellent welds. Powder coating is very thick and...
Thanks again for the information. Looking forward to building this Bronco out and personalizing it.
I was on Hueneme from 08 thru my retirement at the CB museum in 2019. We may have crossed paths.
I really appreciate the feedback. Just ordered the winch version like yours from Steeda who has a significant discount running. Also ordered the aluminum front skid. Now to pick the winch.
I don’t have any front sensors/camera so a bit less to mess with for electronics but with my capable...
Maybe revive this thread and get more experienced responses. Seriously looking at this bumper but haven’t seen solid reviews. I don’t have ACC or need the super duper approach angle. Locking at the Icon or the JCR Vanguard. Thanks for any real experience with this Icon bumper.
Just seemed to be missing something with only the Bronco Script. Fits nicely.
