Why would anyone buy a convertible and never remove the top? That’s the main reason I bought mine. Majority of the time I’ve only got 1-3 sections off. I rarely remove the back one - only because it takes 2-3 people to do so. I remove the doors as much as I can. If I see a long dry period...
One of mine needed a new part right out of the factory.
I’ve had multiple doors do this off and on
Pull the power out and back in. That’s helped me more than once
It’s obviously a design flaw as I see complaints on it often here
Your car isn’t designed to last forever
Ford doesn’t put extra effort into making a car to last 100 years
It’s designed to last 150-200,000 miles (if that)
It’s designed not to rust through for 5-10 years
I own a gt500 and. HC challenger. The gt500 suspension showed signs of rust first few...
No idea why your worried about that rusting?
I bought a 1994 Toyota pickup brand new. The rims rusted 6 months. The inside of the back bumper was bright orange on the dealer parking lot (took 6 years to rust through)
Suspension parts rust
It’s just a basic car.
Sounds like a lawn mower
Unless it can sound like a v8 why bother?
The engines are just too small. It’s never going to impress anyone besides kids with pimped Honda civics. They will think your cool at the stop lights
Being mostly suede I’m not sure how long they will look good. Hard to clean . They look cool. (I’ve got the blue/ orange seats). At 10,000 miles they don’t look as fresh anymore
