Unless our Broncos got special one-offs AFAIK all the Ford battery powered (non-wired) keypads use a standard CR2032 battery that's user replaceable - just not all that easily. Barring malfunction or super heavy use it should last years before needing replacement.

I don't know about your specific setup so I could be barking up the wrong tree but a pink noise file on a USB stick always did OK by me. I thought you'd indicated you were already playing back audio in your system from the USB so this should work for you?

You have correctly assessed the situation. IMO you should discard Option (1) and focus on (2) and (3). If you are relatively confident you can make the enclosure mods needed to fit the larger sub then go for Option (3). Good luck.
