That sucks, but your rock was in a totally different spot. You did what you could to get it onto the rock slider, then had to move it.
This genius doesn't know anything about any of that, he just thought he could drive over a large rock that the truck couldn't clear and it looks to be almost...
Wow. No true wheeler would ever try such foolishness. that rock is far too big for the clearance and that's the most important thing you should first learn about your rig.
Thanks for the laughs though, POSEUR!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
Doug, what in the hell kind of voodoo AI did you do to that Braptor? :)
Guys, I've honestly never paid much attention to my MPG. With the off-road driving I do, it stays pretty low unless I do a 150+ mile highway trip. MPG goes up on a trip, but then comes right back down. I've never done...
I’d guess the hybrid V8 is about range. Honestly, on a trail with an NA V8, we’d be talking maybe 10mpg if you’re lucky. Maybe the hybrid would bring 15-17mpg on a trail. The 392 Wrangler gets maybe 8-10 off-road and can’t go uphill on anything other than a full tank.
My concern would be...
These are terrible developments, but not surprising based on recent Ford decisions.
Well, it was fun while it lasted. They've now softened the Bronco into just another SUV......
No 2 Door, if true is the worst possible outcome.
Now flip, remember your blood pressure! :)
Agree with everything you've written here bud.
Farley on the trail, yet softening the Bronco like crazy. A few more "updates" and the thing will be an Explorer+ package.
I want more off-road focused upgrades. Yes, there have been a few, but...
Let us know next time you plan to head up there. Was all rutted out real good from recent rains, so was a ton of fun with some new challenges my buddies said. First time I'd been there.
Good times!
Unreal!
4 of us from Georgia ran some trails there yesterday! We need to do a better job of taking pics and video of us on obstacles. :)
A fun, but long day driving home to Atlanta. Buc'ees Car Wash refused to wash my Bronco had so much caked and baked on mud all over my rock rails! Ha...
Think many of us DO know how long vehicle development is and it’s normally 5-7 years at best.
However, here we’re not talking about a new vehicle, but a factory retooling which can be done is less than 2 years with decent investment. I don’t want a Coyote V8, as it won’t fit, but another off...
Starting today means you'll be ready tomorrow. :)
my/our lust for a V8 in the Bronco won't die, not today nor 5 years from now. Ford's competitors are about to jump ahead.
The real test is to learn what Toyota will plan to do. They need to pivot from those 4 bangers with hybrids; they are...
Recently read that the Wrangler 392 ain't dead after all. Jeep is also so desperate, they're putting one in the Gladiator. Not sure how much it will help in that thing, but maybe and I can't wait to see.
In the meantime, Ford last week announced another EV thingy; just why?
Come on Ford...
With the recall, going to try to buy and just have them install front and back then since it'll already be up on the lift.
Feel I need to buy soon before prices increase although these should be made in the good ole USA.
I'd been waiting for this!
At this point, know I'm going with FOX and had been looking at FOX 3.0 adjustable (not HOSS 3.0, as these are FOX 2.5), but, the cost is roughly double the full set of these and diminishing returns.
I've been wheeling with these terrible Bilsteins and since the...
Well somebody has to pay for all of that electricity all of those Data Centers eat up..... with the exception of the Data Centers themselves...... 🙄
Amen! 🤣
Why sell a 2 Dr? Why still make a V8 Mustang when it has only 2 Drs and coupes don't sell as much anymore and the V6 or 4 Cylinder Ecoboost makes good numbers and sells much more?
Why, because passion is why.
Sure, MOST are ok with a moar door; they're ok with it. What people...
