I'm actually really glad, in hindsight. They're also telling me that, since I added so few options, that mine is likely to be among the first built from this batch of orders, but we'll see.
Well, it looks like my dealer did that, even though we didn't set that up when we built it a couple days prior to ordering. But I've gone in there and changed it a couple times, so it was probably left over from an earlier iteration. I'm cool with it.
Not sure if it was a Ford thing or my...
But....I want it NOW!
Actually, that's sound advice, and I'm totally fine with waiting. I think, ultimately, I want a versatile vehicle that can do several things fairly well.
Damn, that's a bummer that you would have to wait that long. Hopefully they can get it going for you before too long.
My dealer is telling me that with the very few options/additions I've included, I shouldn't have to wait as long as you have. I might be one of the only people out there who is...
That video brings up another question about skid plates. I gather that the stock "skid plate" on the Base and BB are plastic. You can upgrade to "steel bash plates," while Black Diamond comes with "full vehicle steel bash plates." Is it safe to assume upgrading Base/BB to "steel bash plates"...
All the additional comments are super helpful here. I don't know that the decision is any easier (since I'm kind of tight-walleted and wishy-washy), but all the extra information helps.
This is kind of what I've been wondering with all the Sasquatch comments. I mean, sure it would be nice to have and would get me more places, but my '02 Ranger FX4 has gotten me up some pretty sketchy spider trails and through some muddy situations. And I know that thing isn't a serious off road...
Definitely 2 door. Auto vs manual was strictly based on engine option. If it's the I4, I was staying with the manual. I'd like the advanced 4x4 but not the Sasquatch. Guess I'm doing without advanced 4x4.
Love all the responses. Great thoughts. I originally thought Black Diamond, but realized I also have to consider sales tax, so I was trying to get the price lower (trying to pay cash for it - don't want a payment).
I'd honestly feel good about any of the options mentioned, but a Base Sasquatch...
Hi Everyone,
I will be ordering my Bronco when the banks reopen in March, and I'm waffling back and forth between a few different options. I'm trying to keep my price on the lower end, so I'm somewhat limited in what I can do.
Basically, this is where I'm sitting. I can either order a Base...
