Good morning everyone. Yep, I did a thing….. I believe I have seen every cell phone mount out there and I did not want my cell phone up high above the dash or near the dash so I made a bracket putting it exactly where I like to keep my cell phones at. I hope some of you enjoy the concept. To all the others….. “”Eat My Shorts””

Thank you. It definitely would not be worth it for me to make them. I’m not a production type of guy. Prototype / yes……… repetitive production / Nope.

what airbag is going to hit that? the one for the passenger should come straight, not over in front of the infotainment screen?

If this pic is any indication, the path of passenger side airbag deployment encroaches on the center console grab handle where he has the phone mounted.

This is showing it deflated, after activation. From where it's activating, I really don't see it hitting his mount or phone. And definitely not directing it towards either driver or passenger faces.
Honestly where I have my second mount on my bulletpoint rail for passenger phone or tablet is probably much worse than this

Indeed there are worse things than phone mounts to put in the path of airbags... namely when the passenger puts their legs up on the dash.

Some people like to keep their pockets empty and available in case they go on a long drive and they need to play pocket pool……
