SSV 6.5 Pod Forscan settings

For those that have the SSV rear speaker pods, did you set Forscan to "speaker" or "speaker and tweeter"? Not sure since the speakers have tweeters in them. I also discovered my 2023 does have a real subwoofer and amp. However, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Many articles on here state to turn off the EQ so you get full range signal to the rear pods, but I found everything else sounds worse. This is on a non BO system. I turned on the speaker and tweeter for the rear pods and chalked it up that I unfortunately wasted money on the enclosure and speaker upgrades. Much more is needed to make these systems sound better.

We really like the Bronco, but I admit every time I get in it the audio system is just terrible. Thankfully my son doesn't complain and he drives it the most.

I have the B&O and the speaker you upgrade was well worth it

Hard to believe Ford totally cheaped out on a decent sound system for Bronco. Wrangler offers a fairly decent Alpine system for $1000 bucks over the base kit. To my ear it sounds much better than the Bronco B&O system to say nothing about the crap base offering, Plus, B&O is a brand from 20 years ago, it's no longer got the brand recognition or prestige of days gone by. Was that just the cheapest brand Harman International, which is really Samsung, would license?

I can say, I don't disagree with you.

When I was running an amp without a DSP - turning off the EQ in Forscan would let the speakers open up, but it also removed the factory-applied timing adjustments and it sounded pretty bad. Running with the EQ turned on sounded better to me as well.

Also - for B&O systems, the Forscan settings have no effect.
