I have a 3.5 mo th old German shepherd that eventually will be my service dog. I tried having him in the trunk area and he always got sick. He seems to do well in the back seat and I have just been having him sit on a blanket. I'd really like to find a decent protection for my leather

I have the cheap seat back protectors that everyone seems to have and keep my back seats folded down (that and a moving blanket). I also have the cheap armrest protector, and that works perfect.

I have a 6 year old Labrador retriever and I’ve had the best results with something like this…

https://www.amazon.com/URPOWER-Backseat-Waterproof-Anti-Scratch-Protector/dp/B0FRM3X7FT

The hard bottom design for the seat cover is great. I put a dog bed in the back, a seatbelt that clips in under the backseat cover.

I even use it to increase storage in the back seat when needed, and not damage the seats.
This a good set up, I have one that is similar. I have a four year old pit Bull, German Shepherd, Chow mix and needed it to protect the rear seats. I put a blanket in for her, strap her harness into the seat belt and she is good to go. End of trip after I remove it, open the Bronco doors and give it a good blow out, to try to get most of the dog hair out

The hard bottom Amazon is what we have, with a Great Dane and a Great Pyrenees, it did not last the whole trip. But it was still usable and I am glad we had it. I realize we were asking way too much of the hammock type with that much dog.
The seams ripped out. But they do work well.

Bought this one below (about 6 months old now) and another one (more than 2 years old) for two different broncos. Both have held up well. I think the key is understanding they are almost certainly disposable. One Golden Doodle and now two sheepadoodles later, I have to say they have held up well. Can't find the other one in my orders, but it was also from Amazon.
