The start-up chime is a seatbelt reminder. If you buckle your seatbelt BEFORE starting the car, you won't hear the chime.

No lecturing from me, just sharing information.

I just watched the video. The was great...never knowing where we are. I think I could hang with you guys. Maybe I'll have to commute down for one of your outings. Do you just post them on FB? I'm not on FB, but the wife is. And yes, my double honk is disabled....at least on our 2-dr. If y'all end up in this neck of the woods, let me know.

Loved the video; reminds me of home. I used to hunt with my Dad some down in the St Helens area near Lost Lake, and sometimes over on the east side near Rimrock Lake. Gassing up in Packwood was a tradition.

There are at least 8-10 Lost Lakes in Washington and another 19 in Oregon. Naming of lakes was very unoriginal at one point. :)

Clear Lake was another popular name.

We are a group of passionate Ford Bronco owners who love getting together to explore the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest. We proudly call ourselves the No Double Honk Bronco Boys — a name we earned after disabling that dreaded factory honk "feature" once and for all.

Out on the trails, it’s completely normal for us to step away from our running Broncos with our keys — whether grabbing gear, scouting a route, setting up camp, or simply answering nature’s call. But if your Bronco decides to double-honk at you in protest, it’s an instant badge of shame among the group. Nobody wants to be “that guy” who gets called out by their own rig.

Our favorite playgrounds include the misty trails and towering evergreens of the Tillamook State Forest, the scenic drives and hidden gems of the Santiam, and the vast wilderness of Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Yet the crown jewel of our adventures so far was our epic journey into the high desert: the stunning Alvord Desert and the wild, remote Owyhee region. From endless alkali flats and towering canyon walls to remote hot springs and starry skies untouched by city lights, those trips delivered the kind of raw, unforgettable experiences that define true overlanding.

This video captures the highlights from our adventures between late 2024 and mid-2026 — a two-year span packed with dusty trails, river crossings, forest campsites, epic sunrises, mechanical challenges, laughter around the campfire, and the unbreakable camaraderie that only forms when a group of Bronco owners chase adventure together. From the misty Pacific Northwest rainforests to the wide-open high desert, these journeys showcase everything that makes owning a Bronco so special.

We’re just getting started. Many more trails, more memories, and more adventures lie ahead — and the No Double Honk Bronco Boys plan to be right in the middle of it all.
That song is too much! I loved it!

lol yes, but it's the only point of reference I can remember for the area. There are a few Island Lakes as well. I did spend a fair amount of time with ol' St Helens loomin' over head though. Far more south of Rainier than north of it. I really want to get back out there and spend a bit of time looking around again. The logistics of making that happen from the DC area is complicated unfortunately. Everytime I start to plan a road trip back out there, something bad happens and I am forced to cancel.

Great video !! Being from the east coast of Canada, it's awesome seeing the wilderness out there.
