Hey, looking to purchase a 2025 badsas right now, and I found one that I could use some help evaluating:

2025 Badlands 2.7L 4door sasquatch (hoss3.0) black painted hardtop, lux package, preferred color

Specs wise its great. Heres what gives me pause:

19k miles (according to carfax done in exactly 12 months), and an unknown "glass repair" with no record of what work was actually done. No record of oil change/tire rotation (not that those always go into carfax, but still)

Listed for 53.5k, ~59 OTD

Is this a good value? I was shopping for a '25 because i dont want to deal with a car that has question marks in its past. But this spec is pretty killer. It's also already 60% through its full warranty and decently through its first set of tires and brake pads.

I already asked for money off or an extended warranty and they shot it down. They say its already priced aggressively for the options. Which i agree with, but it doesn't really consider the history. Idk.

What do yall think?

Value is one of those things; You need to dig deep and come to terms with your fear and desire, then wrap all of it up in a price tag and see if you want to meet them or leave a number for if they get more willing to move.

The glass repair would not concern me as it was probably a rock chip. It seems one of my cars needs a new windshield every year.

What is the MSRP for the vehicle?

Just for reference, my small local dealer has a New 25 Sas Badlands, painted hardtop, 2.7, mid-package, MSRP $65 listed for $56 after discounts. Hoss 3.0 is just a $2200 shocks package (shocks with 19K miles on them).
I don't value Lux package like some, so I'd take the new one in a heart beat over the one you listed.
I'm sure you could get the same deal about anyplace in the Country.

I've never understoood why people would spend so close to the cost of a new vehicle for a used one, but they do so it must just be me.

19k in 12 months is an on road warrior, I would assume mostly highway miles, which is better than 15k running city streets IMO. You might look underneath for signs of off roading, in case they were driving to Moab with those miles, but that's less likely.

I'm not sure if my oil changes get recorded. If someone did them themselves... It's still under warranty, so if they ran it with broken down oil, I would think you'd know fairly soon.

I've had a glass repair in the windshield (repair, not replace). I have a friend on his fifth windshield and we got ours the same week. The upright windshield is easily cracked/broken, hope you're not a semi tailgater.

Yeah i tried to order a new 25 and they said they're on to 26 only now (27 soon), and theres basically no new 25s on lots anymore near me (and definitely not optioned like this with a price that starts with 5-)

Although i would love to find one!

When I was looking for mine in late 2024, I started looking at the used market. Then I compared the prices to a new one from the dealer, and spent about the same amount of money.

Eruption Green, 500 miles

I will add that sasquatch is not a must, I can put on my own tires and a lift to a non-sas.

But the lux is a must for me
