Badland Winch on Rough Country High Mount

I’ve seen where people have mounted this configuration, but I’m running into an issue with the winch not being able to mount because it’s butted up against the locking plate behind the RC sensor relocation mount. What have you guys done to remedy this? Thanks in advance!

You have to cut/trim the locking caps for the sensors. It's in the instructions.

If it were only that easy! The instructions are for mounting the Rough Country winch. I’m about 1/2” away from the mounting holes, so gringo g a corner won’t be enough. Thank you though.

Turns out the issue is the Capable bumper sensors. They connect on the end, versus on a 90 degree bend. I’m trying to source some 90 degree parking sensors and see if the work with the capable harness.

Good catch, I could definitely see that being an issue.

Even I had a struggle with this on my setup, I have the modular bumper and got the RC high winch mount with Badlands 12,000 lb winch, and the winch butted up heavily against the sensors.

I think I ultimately ended up trimming all the plastic on the sensor mount up to the foam cushion.
