Does anyone know if this fits a 2026 Badlands 4-dr 2.3L Manual Trans? If I Google it says skid plate designs have not changed, but if I look on Amazon, it says it doesn't fit a 2025-2026. I guess there are two questions a) does it fit and b) is the removable piece actually under the oil pan drain? Thank you for any help.

Not sure where you read it won't fit 25+26. There should be no fitment issues. The only review I see on Amazon mentions the front mounting holes. The OE intercooler mounts (where the skid plate mounts) have a decent amount of play from the factory. They can be loosened and adjusted.

And yes, the drain access is under the oil drain and gives plenty of room for the oil to shoot out without making a mess.

First - I love my IAG skids. Note that they fit so that the bottom surface aligns to be flat across all the skids (hence skidding...) and will be around the height of the bottom of the rear diff. So that tranny and transfer case skid, lined up to the bottom of the fuel tank skid, will make it LOOK like you have less clearance underneath.

Also, I have the 2024 2.3L and oil gets everywhere when you remove the little access piece. There is certainly not enough room for oil to clear it. At least that was my experience my first oil change. So since that first change, I use an evacuator to remove 3 or so quarters which helps when I drain the balance. I also use a cut up soda bottle as a deflector.

In the test we did, it was sufficient to allow the stream to shoot out towards the wheel and finish draining without spilling on top of the skid. Ours is a '21, but I don't think the drain location has changed. The oil filter on the other hand, horrible design.

On the Amazon webpage, you can entire your vehicle and when I visit the page showing the IAG skid plate, a notice is shown. I did a copy/paste for you:

Well thanks for all the feedback. My plan is to use this with the Lobo hidden winch mount. The goal is to avoid having to loosen the Lobo plate in order to remove the OEM skid plate to change oil. The Lobo plate plus the Warn winch is going to weight around 120-130lbs. Loosening and re-tightening/torquing the shared bolts seemed like a pain. With the IAG plate, I can keep everything as-is and just remove the oil access plate. I also plan on adding a Fumoto F-107SX valve with a drainage hose to further simplify oil changes. Not sure how the two thicker plates (both are thicker than existing Badlands plates) will overlap each other as they share bolts, but hopefully, it won't be too bad.

Ok, ordered, now wish me luck! I also have to find the energy/strength to install my new Cobb intercooler (will use Lobo brackets), now new IAG skid plate, and the final mod ... my Lobo plate with the Warn winch. I got tired just thinking about this. Time for a nap or beer or both.
