My name is Jim and I am a new member from the central part of New Jersey.

I ordered my Marsh Grey 2026 Bronco Badlands from All American Ford in Old Bridge New Jersey on March 12, 2026 and I took delivery of it on May 30, 2026. It was only about a 10 week process to get it built and delivered which was great.

I ordered it with the 7 speed manual transmission, Dual top option with the Body colored Painted Hard Top and black soft top, Mid Package, Leather Seats, Towing Package, Raptor Style Running boards and some upgraded carpeted floor mats and rear Cargo Area Rug.

I needed to replace my old 1985 Jeep CJ-7 that I had for 33 years! I loved that Jeep and it broke my heart to sell it but I could no longer keep up with the rust all over the body.

Before ordering my Bronco I found this forum and read as much as I could about them. I wanted to make the right choices based upon other peoples experiences for what options to get that were good to have and more importantly, what options not to get due to them not being so great/worth the cost.

I look forward to being a member of this great forum!

Welcome, Jim! 👋

Sorry to hear the rust finally claimed the CJ-7 after 33 years—that’s a hell of a run for an 80s Jeep. It's always tough letting go of a rig you've had that long, but you're going to be blown away by how much better the Badlands drives and wheels.

Post up some pictures of that Marsh Grey when you get a chance. Enjoy the new ride! 😎

Thanks! I had 210,000 miles on the CJ-7 when I sold it. And it still had the original clutch in it!

I am amazed at how much nicer the Bronco rides/drives than the old CJ-7, but I know that is to be expected with a 41 year difference between the two.

One of the things that is hard for me to get used to is putting the Bronco into reverse. With the Jeep reverse was over to the right and down. Because I drove the Jeep for 33 years the motor-memory of doing that to go into reverse is hard to stop doing. I keep putting the Bronco into 6th gear every time I want to back up!
