I’ve seen a lot of the same wheels on here (stock, methods, Vossen, KMC)… Wanted to share these as I think the cost, weight, and looks are a huge win over a lot of the more common options.

I've been lurking on here since picking up my 2023 Bronco Raptor a few months ago… absorbing info and planning my build. I wanted to wait until the factory tires were toast (it only had 3000 miles on it when I bought it) and do wheels/tires together but couldn't pass up the Memorial Day pricing. I wanted to be as light as possible to offset the heavier tires I’ll get down the road (38x12.5 toyo rt trails most likely).

I also looked at custom forged wheels costing $600+ but kept coming back to these. The Memorial day price pushed me to pull the trigger.

These Monoforged 2.0 RR7s came in at ~22 lbs and ~24 lbs with the “protection ring”… approx. because I don’t trust my scale to the decimal. Factory wheels on my scale were ~36 with the non-functional beadlock ring… so about 12lbs saved (all weights were within 0.2lbs of the whole number referenced).

We are planning to move somewhere with actual rocks in 2 years but for now… I don’t need true beadlocks. You can easily convert these to beadlocks, so when the time comes I just need to buy the rings.

17x8.5 0 offset. 22lbs. These run $400 a pop ($325 during the sale) but they do have cheaper options with fractionally heavier weights.

I am not affiliated with RRW in any way… I just did a ton of research and found the price/weight/features checked all my boxes and wanted to share for anyone doing similar research. Worth adding to the standard list of options in my opinion.

Note: Ring bolts are black... some residual anti-seize is still on there in these photos.

Very nice wheels. Forged is obviously a big plus too.

That said there is no (human/seat of the pants) test you can do to feel 12 lb per wheel, even with the 2X effect of lower moment of inertia in a 6500 lb rig.

Oh I agree regarding the butt dyno impact. This was more about keeping unsprung weight and rotational mass within a reasonable variance from stock for sake of drive train/suspension/brakes.

Those look very nice in design. I will have to look into RRW. Where in Florida are you? I am in the Tampa area.... I;d love to see your wheels if you are out around the area sometime.

Thanks! Definitely check em out. I'm in the panhandle by Tallahassee so not really near ya but that said, I am planning to do the next Raptor Run in Ocala... so if that's something you're up for, perhaps you could see them then. I'll try to remember to hit you up once the next Ocala event is announced.
