Good morning. I will be attending the Tennessee Bronco Off Rodeo next week and I’m excited.
I see a lot of videos and pictures online and I was wondering if the off rodeo staff are helpful with taking a picture or video here or there for you while you go through the event or if you are on your own? I will have a passenger with me but they have limited mobility issues so they won’t be able to easily jump in and out if the car to tsje a picture or video.
I was just curious to see what to expect. I certainly don’t want to interfere with them doing their job, be a nuisance or keep them from guiding people safely through the course.
Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I will definitely ask other participants passengers if they mind taking some pictures or video for me given the chance. I’m sure the instructors have their hands full.

I've seen where others have utilized the available Dash mount to put a GoPro style camera and record the entire day's events. You can also windshield mount something. They encourage picture taking. Here's the wife:

I was there last June. If I were you, I'd bring a Go-Pro and thread it in on the available dash mount. It's completely hands-off. You can then stay focused on the trail and those around you. You can simply say: "Go-Pro start recording" or "Go-Pro stop recording" and it will do it, without your fiddling around with it. Your being distracted is the kind of stuff your instructor will be concerned about.

At Moab they had a professional photographer following us around and the photos were for sale about 2 weeks after the event.

But you were free to take your own pics/video, and they would stop for you to take additional photos if you asked. We even drove over to some location (can't recall the name, like a big natural ampitheatre) not on the trail about 20 minutes out at someone's request to get a big group photo

The Off-Rodeo is likely privately-owned or leased property. There was not a professional photographer peddling wares during the Off-Rodeo event in Tennessee I attended last June that I'm aware of. The instructor never made a statement to us concerning us filming or taking pictures. But common sense is implicit and in order here: don't make it dangerous for yourself, others and their assets. Of course, there will in time be somebody will not exhibit common sense.

Thank you everyone for taking time to respond.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to do this with my best friend so I want to capture it for memories but do so safely and without causing issues of course.
After reading recommendations on here, I plan on using my iPhone 17 mounted on the console using a mount that will fit in the mounting hole in the dashboard. I don’t have a decent action camera like a go pro unfortunately so I hope it will capture things well enough. My mount comes today and I plan on testing it out before I go.
I’m excited about attending next week and making great memories no matter if I capture them well on camera. :)

I advise to make sure you have a stud that threads into the dashboard, several people were left unable to use the stock location as the didn't have the adapter.

Sounds like a good plan! I know you'll have fun. You'll meet some great people and swap some stories when it's time to eat. There is a store in the main building with T-Shirts, hats, stickers, etc, so make sure you bring some cash for that. You'll find that the staff has a great attitude. Having your best friend with you will make it even better. If you want a two-door, you might want to get there early so you can snag it. When I was there last June, there were only two or three. I got the Black Diamond in Area 51 blue.

Ive seen mounts, that'll utilize the trail sights, for the gopro. Seems like a good spot for decent video.

Good News... you can do it regularly at the TN Bronco Off-Roadeo (BYOB):

Bring Your Own Bronco

The good thing is that you are on trails with guides who know the trails and you will not get damage to your rig.
The wife and I did both the Off-Roadeo and the BYOB in Tennessee and had a great time at both.
I did Windrock Off-Road Park and got some trail damage, but that's to be expected on the trails we chose.

Just went in May. No professional photographers. Several people brought someone/spouse/friend and lots of the technical spots give ample opportunity to hop out and film. Everyone in our group was more than willing to film you or for you if you wanted. Very friendly group we had.

Only issue with dash mount is it's difficult to capture just how steep the slopes are you're traveling.

It's a great time. Enjoy

The gospel according to @Mdozier is 100% correct:

This does NOT look like my Bronco is angled 22 degrees downhill in this shot, but it is:
