I’ve been recently adding to my 2025 badlands. Westin front bumper, brush guard, 10k super winch. 39 in light bars etc. I just purchased the 2026 APEXX base model trailer. Should be picking up this weekend. Just curious how anyone has found that to tow dry weight is about 1500 pounds. I think also curious on how well it does off-road with the articulating hitch. Can’t wait to get out there and test it out both comments are welcome.

Sounds like a nice set up....

Age has nothing to do with learning. Some people are interested in learning, some people are not.... Keep open to learning for your whole life. That is why I am on here.... I am old and I have been off roading for decades... BUT there is so much I still have to learn. There are some really smart people on here that I learn from all the time.

You should be excited! sounds like you have a great set up that should treat you right. You are going to have fun!

Off-road means a lot of different things to different people.

For mild-moderate trails, no problems what so ever. Plenty of power, plenty of brake, you load it securely and make sure the weight is right, and it won't be a problem at all.

When you start getting into rocks/stumps/deep sand or snow, gullies & washouts, etc... the trailer hitch starts to catch on everything. Made a bit worse by the fact that you will need a drop hitch to clear the spare tire and to allow the trailer to ride (more or less) level.

my rear recovery hook (still have the plastic bumper on the rear) has seen its shared of being dragged on a rock. If I had a hitch receiver , it would likely have seen the same. As brian mentioned, offroad varies. if there was a trailer connected to it, it would be a no go.

However, assuming you're not rock crawling with a trailer. maybe you are and that's awesome
