Im wondering if anyone tried to fit the 95L with quick release mounts from side to side (left to right)?
The case is 47", while the rack is 48", and I assume the quick release mounts takes some extra space as well, so its a tight fit
I'll appreciate if anyone can share their experience

I don't have the half rack or the Roam case, but you can probably purchase or fab a mounting plate from some aluminum if you have to.

BTW, the Leitner Designs 96-quart gearPOD ROOF box is pretty nice, if you hadn't considered that. Not cheap, but It's a very nice design being side opening and the mounting is integrated into the box. I had to used a TrailRax large mount plate to put it on because the fasteners are larger than the rack slots (Leitner uses larger, quality 8mm fasteners vs TR 1/4"). It's pretty nice. Have not tested its highway speed water tightness in HEAVY rain, though.

Re: Openroad—We purchased two 102l kits from Openroad several months ago. Didn’t think anything about it until we got the shipped email and a follow up email stating the brackets were back ordered. Nothing on their website said the brackets were back ordered or we would have looked elsewhere probably roam though we would have to pay more. Openroad is a Chinese company that has no phone support. Emails take several days to reply to. They eventually agreed to refund the cost of the brackets only after I brought PayPal into the discussion.

Fast forward to yesterday and what do I find outside my door. Two boxes of Openroad brackets. I contacted them and we’ll see what they say.

Make sure they have what you want in stock and ready to ship before you pay.

Nice! Does the mounts require 2 crossbar for the installation?

Thanks!
Looks a little bit out of proportion, a bit too tall, but I’m going for it!
I didn’t find anything that fits exactly edge to edge like this.
