Like the OP, I also did the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs in 35X12.50-R17 on stock rims a few days ago on my WT. I have about 150 miles on them. So far, a pretty amazing tire. I have lots of general squeaks/rattles/wind noise in my truck, but I can still tell the tires are a fair bit quieter than the GY Territory MTs, even with the considerably more aggressive tread. They ride very well on my heavy 2-door WT with Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 coil overs and they have improved stability in cornering (these are load range D vs C of the GYs). I believe the soft side wall on the GYs contributed to a lot of "squishiness" to the ride and handling. It maybe just me, but I swear I feel the extra tire weight, particularly in stop and go driving. It takes a tiny little bit more throttle to get it going and a wee bit more brake to get it stopped. Also noticed I was slightly over running stop lines, requiring a bit more brake at the end. Made me a little less smooth in traffic for a short spell. I have not had much time with them, but MPGs seem consistent so far in the high 15s almost 16 mpgs, but I expect I will end up losing a 1/2 to 1 mpg based on my throttle sensations above. I just filled up yesterday, so should know a little more soon. The steering in a straight line seems a little more vague, but they also did an alignment at install and that could be part of that sensation. Seemed good on wet roads, but it wasn't a heavy rain with lots of standing water.

I have not had them off road, but several people I've wheeled with run these on their Broncos and they have never had traction issues and they have done as well or better than my GYs. The MTs have particularly outshined the GYs in mud. I don't have much personal comparative experience with other aftermarket tires, but so far I don't see a reason to not select these Mickey Thompson's. The weight is a bit of a "bummer", but Im hoping that weight will equate to a more robust, damage tolerant tire.

Nice bronco. Whatcha running for on road air pressure? Im running 30psi seems to help for even wear and soften ride after chalk test. Offroad they work great, I usually run about 10-13psi offroad depending on how rocky the trail is. Last season, on a overnight camp trip on the trail we got hit by a massive snow storm high up on the mountain! The Bronco did great and didnt really fish tail much on the snow in the rocks on the trail. Was very impressed. I would like to try their AT however for a little bit quieter road noise on my next tire swap. Im sure the ATs are just as good as their MT on the trail.

Thanks. I love this freaking truck more than an inanimate object should be loved! 😍

I started at 35 psi, but I think that is high. I can tell by the dust pattern from my gravel road that I don't have much contact at the outer edges of the tread. I'll try 32 psi next, but your 30 psi may end up the being the ticket. The weight has not seemed to impact my milage so far. Reducing pressure might change that a little. These MT BB ATs are more quiet than the stock 35" GYs. I do hear a slight tread noise under some conditions, but overall considerably quieter, and yet with a significantly more aggressive tread. That's a win. So far, I really dig them. Can't wait to try them on trails. Hopefully these will be far better than the GYs in mud.

Also considering these tires so looking forward to more reports!

A couple of folks in the PNW Bronco group who are more active and aggressive than me have these Mickeys (@Scott M and @ezapar 2) on their Broncos and they don't seem to have any complaints on how they handle on the trails. I actually liked the GYs on most PNW stuff other than mud and compact snow, but I expect these to be better. Even on the road, they give the sense of being "grippier" than the 28K mile, 4+ year old GYs. It's going to take me a long while to rack up enough miles to know how these age and wear. I suspect the rubber will go hard before I wear them out, though.

I only have a couple of hundred of mild weather, pavement miles on them. But if you need tires now and these were already on your short list, I don't think you'd regret buying them one bit. The OP has had his a while now. Maybe he will post some impressions.

I've been running them for about a year now. Great tires, off road has clear advantages. Cons, heavy and notably less traction in the snow compared to OEM. Went back and bought another set of OEM tires to swap to for winter months.

Interesting. Well, that scratches them off my list then. I live in the mountains. It snowed THIS week (May 17th)!

More up your alley, great winter traction but still able to off road. We have a few guys here that swear by Nokian in the winter and now a guy who runs these on his F150. Heard good things myself, but they only go to 315/70/17.
Thanks. Interesting tire. Great reviews. Rated F and still only 61 lbs at 315/70/17 (34.4”)! Which is fine for me, not planning to go above BadSas stock size. Moved to the top of my list!

I don't have personal snow experience yet, but some of the Bronco group members here have the MT BB ATs and have been pretty happy with them in snow....at least our typically wet/heavy PNW snow. They MTs generally seemed more snow capable than my GY Territory MTs @ about 23K miles. The Mickeys are also 3PMSF rated, though after researching that standard, I'm not sure that really means a lot. While nothing is going to beat a quality dedicated snow tire, you can see below Tire Rack put the Mickey's at the top of their snow tested AT tires. Unfortunately the Nokian was not included in that head to head testing. A final point that help sway me to the MTs was that they are made in the USA.

Shame they didn't test Firestone Destination XT which are excellent in snow and everywhere else with great ride, handling and quiet.

I too have recently put these tires on. I started at 35psi and while I think they ride great I also noticed the dust pattern near the outer edges. Glad I'm not the only one that noticed. I'll bring them down to 32psi and report back some findings as well.
