Wanted to circle back here now that it’s been about a month since we shared the V2 update! A lot of the earlier concerns we saw were around long-term durability and internal components. V2 focuses heavily on that side of things with updated LED drivers, improved internal protections (voltage, surge, etc.), and tighter QC across the board. Same overall design, but built to hold up better over time.

For anyone who’s picked up a set recently, we’d love to hear your real-world feedback so far! And always happy to answer anything too if questions come up.

I am one of the many on here who has experienced multiple failures with the V1 version. Driver's side vertical brake light failed after 1 year and again a year later. Brake lights being a major safety feature, this is really unacceptable. We shouldn't have to worry about our tail light failing after a year or even two. 5 to 10 years should be the minimum guarantee.

So now I'm fighting with customer service trying to get a replacement tail light for one that was replaced once already. All I've been offered is a discount on a whole new set. The idea of paying any more money for such a faulty product is pretty mind boggling. This is not how you inspire long term brand loyalty.

If a light has failed, we want to help and we can replace the faulty unit under warranty. However, we’re not able to replace a perfectly functioning matching light simply to create a new pair. That’s why customer service offered discounted pricing on a complete new set as an alternative option.

Over the last few years, we’ve made major improvements to the Flush Tail Lights internally, including upgraded LED driver technology, improved surge and voltage protection, better CAN-bus compatibility, and refinements to the electronics and assembly process to improve long-term durability and reliability.

We understand your concerns, and the updates to the current production version were made specifically to address long-term performance and customer feedback. We genuinely appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make this right within the scope of our warranty policy.

I never asked to replace a perfectly good light. I had one light fail after a year, then the one I was sent under warranty failed a year later. I am trying to get a replacement for this failed tail light.

That makes no sense, and was not what was said.

@OracleLights
I am a little confused. The back up light upgrade is described two different ways:

1) A "Switchback" back up light that doubles as an amber turn signal.

2) A chase light.

If its a turn signal does it replace the regular red turn signal function?
If its is a chase light, does it strobe? And how is it controlled?

Thanks. Interesed for sure but I want to be clear on what I am purchasing.

If you have factory LED lights it can work as a turn signal. But if you don't then you can use it as a chase light, trail light, or rear facing amber aux.

Hope that helps!

Hello, apologies for misunderstanding your message. I am not familiar with your particular situation. If you would like to DM me your order # we can ask CS to look into this for you. If you are saying that your lights are past the warranty period and Custom Service are offering you a discount on a new set, yes, that sounds standard.

Digging in a little deeper on you website it states that if your vehicle has LED lights (which mine does), a change via Forscan is required?

That is referring to if you have the original tail lights without the Amber turn signal on a LED equipped Bronco you need to make Forscan changes for the Red only Tail lights to work with the original tail lights.

Definitely a lot easier to tell when she’s two-footed driving with the lights going from black to red. Haven’t utilized the additional clearance yet but it will come.

The halogen-equipped Broncos were actually the first models we released these for, so there are definitely a ton of people running them successfully already!
