Ford Performance Air/Oil Separator Kit for 2.7 Install

Got this as part of the Jolly25% in Dec. As usual, shipping was delayed and dealer parts dept. lack of organization.... Just got this in.

Installation was as very easy.

Passenger side is straight forward. Just need to pay attention to the screws that go into a threaded insert for the bracket.

Driver side has the "Orange" clips that have to be broken off. The bracket on this side uses self-tapping screws

I have the Corsa catch can which is only for the passenger side. I checked it after almost 6 months and only 1400 miles of driving (Dec-May) and found a bit of oil.

Found a place a bit cheaper. Not by much though. All seems to be in the $500-$600 range.

I just waited for the Ford discounts, I used a 25% code when I purchased mine. Also used Klarna to pay in 4.

I installed the Ford Dual Oil/Air Separator kit about 10k miles ago (currently at 20k miles) and the one on the top left side (closer to passenger side) had a bit of oil in it when I emptied it out last week, I'd say about a double shots worth (I love my tequila, what can I say) but the one closer to the battery on the right side (closer to battery and driver side) was bone dry.

From what I've seen online... that's usually the case. Ford should sell these seperately.
I'll revive this thread in a year and see it I get similar results...

I gave the ford honorable mention but couldn’t justify the cost difference. Ended up with Burger Motor Sports dual system.

Reviving/Updating this post.

Did a 50% (oil life) oil change and actually found oil in the separator on the passenger side. Driver side was good.
Hard to see the puddle inside....
