Love:

-Short wheelbase (2 door) that provides nimble handling (same wheelbase as my Mustang)
-Comfortable seats with articulating headrests
-Plush ride provided by the FOX suspension : -)
-10 Speed trans works perfect
-Button and knob temperature controls
-Tons of aftermarket accessories

Don't Love:

-Loud cracking noise when either window is partially open going over bumps
-No pushrod V8 option (or any V8 option for that matter)
-Terrible display (2024 and previous)
-Sticky accelerator pedal - makes modulating difficult although I fixed this
-Inadequate drivers side floor heat
-No coat hanger/dry cleaning hook
-Why does it take 4 steps to get to music tone setting? -unsafe-
-Like most new cars to many computer nannies

Love:
The way my Heritage looks. Gives me a thrill every time.
The way it feels behind the wheel. Gives me a thrill every time.
The way it drives. Gives me a thrill every time.
The seats - I find them super comfy.
The outward visibility and driving position - great vehicle to sight see in! You don't feel like you are sitting in a cave.
The twin turbo V6 - giddyup!
How amazing it is off road, yet still great on road.
The placement of the hero switches - was terrible on my Wrangler (hidden by your left knee).
How quickly those switches engage.
Turn key with 35s.

Hate:
I wish it had active cruise control. I thought all vehicles at this price point would.
The dash is cartoon-ish and does not look high end. I much prefer a combo of mechanical needles with a digital display.
Wish it had 360 cameras - for this price point it should and that stuff isn't expensive anymore.
Wish the suspension (Hoss 2.0) rode better. My old 2012 Wrangler Rubicon rode better and was great off road.
Wish the display had the option of showing what gear you are in all the time when in auto (regular drive mode)
Wish when you manually select a gear, it takes that gear much quicker than the seemingly forever delay.
Ridiculous that it did not come with a fuel tank skid plate - it's a freakin Bronco! Added the one from the Raptor after delivery - had to wait a few months to come back in stock then had to deal with the mess of getting it delivered to a shop to fit it.

But in the overall scheme of things I absolutely love it. And so do total strangers from all the comments I keep on getting.

Love
  • How peppy it is - setting a scale here I own a 65 Cobra that weighs 2300lbs with 500+ HP/TQ and a 6.7 power-stroke that will bald 37's from stop, so while the 2.7 is no monster of a motor its still peppy enough and fun to drive and will get out of its own way if needed.
  • Driving confidence is higher than expected on the highway very planted even in the curves
  • Limited blind spots compared to other SUV's
  • Added the factory vinyl floors at the dealer since it came with carpet, have them in my Super duty and love them for what I do. I wont ever go "mudding" of literally wash it out with a hose so no worries about the smell fingers crossed

Hate
  • $70KMSRP Bad SAS and it missed the cutoff for mid 2025 for the auto dimming rearview mirror
  • Can't select to look out the backup camera when it park but can see 3 other view (DUMB)
  • Wish you could look out the side cameras induvially like GMC/Chevy offer on the ZR2 or their HD trucks. Would be nice for wheeling or tight corners/parking
  • Less than 1000k Miles and I have a rattle on driver side second door window that goes away if you just barley crack it open
  • Side Mirrors are a tad to small for my liking (spoiled with the Super duty, but cobra is worse for mirrors but typically never looking backwards in that thing!)
  • second the no V8 option - Miss opportunity by Ford in my opinion

I've had mine for not quite a year and a half (12K miles), so I think I may still qualify for being in the honeymoon period.

For perspective, my '24 WildTrak replaced a 2012 BMW X5, and I set my expectations accordingly moving to the Bronco and even with that, I was pleasantly surprised. My other two non-winter, fair-weather toys are a 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe (630hp) and a 2016 Stage 3 Roush Mustang convertible (727hp). I have also owned to Toyota Land Cruisers in the past ('98 & '04) in addition to a couple of Pathfinders before that ('95 & '98). The '95 was a true off-road vehicle.

Likes
- Looks
- Capability
- Decent power for its size (2.7L V6)
- Comfortable seats
- Comfortable ride Hoss 3.0 w/Fox shocks
- No squeaks, rattles or leaks so far
- Only two dealer visits so far were for two oil changes and tire rotations
- Aux switches (Really made installing lights much easier)

There is nothing I REALLY hate about it, DISLIKES or COULD BE BETTER might be more accurate.

Dislikes
- Window vibration that causes them to bang against the pillars when they are slightly open
- No 360-degree camera and heated steering wheel (My fault for not opting for the LUX package)
- MIC top (no issues with it so far, but I can't help feeling that I'm just on borrowed time)

That's really about it for the dislikes. I really had to think long and hard if there was anything else I disliked.

Yes, it is noisier, but that is just the nature of the beast given 35" tires, removable roof and that it is shaped like a brick. I love driving it just as much as my other two toys, for different reasons obviously.

Like:
- I still find myself glancing back at the Bronco while walking into the store, even after 5 years.

-It really is fun to drive. Plenty of pep. With my Sprintbooster the pedal really responds. Steering still feels nearly as tight as the day I picked it up.

-You can pretty much park the 2 door anywhere. Great turn radius.

Dislikes:

-The hardtop. Nothing catastrophic yet but a seam has opened up above the rear driver side window. Just as soon as warranty ran out. Stuffed it full of epoxy and it seems to be holding okay.

-The sheer amount of recalls.

-The interior plastics are pretty cheap and scuff up if you look at them wrong.

effortless speed bumps and humps, pot holes, broken roads, curb, medians, trashed back alleys and parking areas, elevated position, good acceleration and great winter vehicle plus summer wih top down.

Better than Mustang convertible in rapidly deterioating Canada roads.

On my 2dr I hate the wind noise and the frameless windows. Love everything else.

Now that the dust has settled and the 6th Gens have been on the road for a while, I’m curious to hear some honest feedback from you all.

What do you love most about the 6G? Alternatively, what do you hate?

Looking forward to reading your replies and see how everyone is feeling about their rigs in 2026!
Love the removable top and how stupid fun the thing feels even at low speeds lol. Hate the random little quality control gremlins and the fact wind noise becomes your third passenger on long highway trips.
