Couple ideas for products I have not yet seen.
1) side molle panels that attach only to the clamshell/rear roof mounting points so that I can leave it on the roof itself, but still make it easy for when I want to take the roof off (green) which would be independent of the OEM (or similar) roof rack (red).

2) Retractable Bimini shade, mainly for parking. Continuing with the topless theme, It would be nice to have a shade that is mounted to the rear cross bar and houses a retractable shade that rolls out and will keep the sun off the seats while parked. It would be cool if it could have extra mounting points to act as a traditional shade, but I really just want it for when I park.

3) a rack to hold removable mud flaps while offroading. To be honest, I'll probably just make this out of 2x4's or get a shallow storage bin from Target, but something purpose built would be nice.

How about some sort of on-board hardtop removal system? It may attach to rear roll cage that could lift off the top spin it around and put on the ground or on a storage rack, etc. It would be a one person activity.

As I"m finishing up my own roof-removal and storage DIY project, I was thinking along the same lines as you. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to remove and store the roof while on the road, such as going to a topless event? It would have to be some kind of folding/telescoping legs (with large casters) that drop down to support the rear, where most of the weight is. Sit in the trunk and lift up and out and a second pair of legs would have to drop automatically. Pretty much a foldable EZ-lift that sits in the trunk and unfolds.

Conversely, you could have a more elaborate set up sitting external on a roof rack and side panels. 4 telescoping poles that lower, lift and lock. There would have to be some kind of caster system, because backing into it to get it back on would take quite a bit of talent. I'm getting a lot of use from the pictures taken of my weekend at NORA4x4.com.

But how often would you use this? I wonder if there is a market for it.

Would love a bracket to fit in between the the MIC hardtop and the rear side windows that would allow you to open them a crack or remove them entirely. Removable rear facing back window would be awesome as well.

Number 2 is a fantastic idea. I too would love one like that.

A plug & play twin stick would be nice and wheel sensor fault override

A transmission skidplate for the 2.7L similar to this one but without the yellow badging:

LOD makes one.
I'm aware. I was referring to one with the Mabett price instead.
