2023 hardtop rear glass hinge fix

Hey Friends. Has anyone encountered and fixed this little issue with their hardtop rear glass hinges? There should be 4 little “bumpers” around the hinge that attaches to the rear glass on the hard top. The one on the upper broke off, which isn’t a big issue, but the remaining one on the lower left kind of turned just a little so that the it’s not flush against the hinge. The result is that the hinge protector won’t fit over the hinge. That little bit of misalignment pops it right off. I think replacing the part Would mean replacing the glass, which I’m not interested in. I wonder if a heat gun would allow me to get that little plastic piece back in line? Any other suggestions? As it stands, the hinge Is getting beat up by the weather since it’s exposed.

What makes you think you would have to replace the glass? It looks like that piece is just sandwiched between the hinge and the glass, with a bolt going through all three and holding them together.

Nope. Separate part from the glass.
