Yeah the only problem I have with that is... I'd be hitting the sprayer every 5 seconds on a 45 minute drive. I've already done Rain-X on the lens. It helps more than if I didn't have it on there. And it's not necessarily big rain drops that are the problem, it's the road spray from the rear tires and the vacuum that the rear of the vehicle creates pulling the water inward towards the lens. I've put more thought into this than I care to admit to. And my last ditch effort seems to rely on a fan.
It's all good though, thank you for your input.

I completely agree with your thoughts on this fan idea, I live in British Columbia Canada so it rains 70% of the time haha. The road spray is certainly an issue. Do you happen to have a dedicated thread for this started? id be very interested in your testing results

Honestly I've been so busy lately that I haven't had the time to even start this project. I'm hoping as summer rolls around I'll finally get some time on the weekends to start testing out ideas.

Good morning fellas (and ladies)

This is my first post, as I've only had my Bronco a few weeks, but I've used the Forum for a handful of ideas and changes already.

I'm posting here, first, because I love 3d designing and printing.

So to start a big thanks to ejedmo5 for the door pocket files and design. I love them.

After printing and installing them I had the bright idea to try and model for the rear doors, but in my ever increasing brilliance I completely broke the rear net pocket. Thus turning the project from a "maybe I'll make this" to "I have to make this".

I will be adding this to thingiverse and likely makerworld, for those that may be interested.

Let me know what you think.

Love the 2-tier design, with the little tray at the bottom.

These look amazing! I’m going to get a spool of ABS for these and print side-pocket cup holders my kids won’t be able to destroy.

Have you uploaded them yet? Link?

We have a family vacation coming up and my son is REALLY wanting these.

Also can you give any details on installation?

Sorry for my delay in response

Removing the factory netting from the rear door requires you to cut the plastic welds. I just slipped a sharp pocket knife in behind the trim the holds the netting.

I just attached mine with screws but I would recommend removing the door panel and attaching through the factory trim holes.

Rear Door Cup Holder file uploaded to maker world for those that may be interested.

please read the entire description before you print this file and make the modification.

The rear netting/ cup holders are not as easy as the front doors to replace.

Removing the factory netting requires cutting or drilling of the plastic welds holding the trim on.

I attached my prints with stainless screws but I would recommend you remove your door panel and attach it through the factory trim holes. The model has no holes so you can drill and attach anywhere.

To print the passenger side just mirror the model horizontally in your slicer.

I am addicted to 3D printing stuff for my bronco and bronco stuff. lets see, glass's holder for my Oakley because i couldn't find a good spot to store them. Bump stops for the tire rack. key holder. phone charger, light covers (the glowing yellow covers in the photo) working on a V2 for the light covers (those are turning out pretty cool! like a smoke tinted color) brackets galore! still mid design for some door pockets. there are a few versions already out there but im not a big cup holder fan so going a different direction. so much fun! and love seeing all the stuff people are making. good stuff!

I like the Oakley holder and the phone charger. Do you have the files out there on one of the websites for download?
