like Ford said you can have any color Bronco you want as long as it is Grey.

I am an AMB fan, that was my first choice. but I did end up with the color I wished they had from the get go.

You nailed it, another shade of grey. The one thing I will say about Jeep is they seem to have a much more exciting color palette.
For sure, this maybe this first time in my 68 years that I don't buy a Ford. Jeep has some interesting colors

Ford figured orange alone was loud enough without making it extra sparkly. What would be cool would be if they offered some of the original bronco paint codes.

Yes very lame. I’m not a huge fan of Velocity Blue, and while red looks nice, it’s not really the color for me. I was in love with Orange Fury, so I’m super disappointed.

I’ll probably end up picking between Avalanche Grey and Desert Sand (leaning towards Avalanche).
I agree with you. Velocity Blue is not the best version of Blue that they have put out. I tend to prefer a bit darker shade. The Azure Blue on my Mustang isn't really as dark as I'd like but is still better than Velocity blue imo.

Orange Fury's not a loss imo, but they do need a bit more selection than 50 shades of grey.

My wife has the Velocity Blue. It was not her first choice, as we ordered an Area 51, but Ford cancelled our order because we wouldn't ditch the hard top, modular bumper and lux package. So we happened upon one the day after Ford notified us we were crap out of luck on our order.

During the 2 year wait for our Bronco, the Area 51 color appeared a lot and my wife liked the Velocity Blue and the green better, so it worked out. I am not a fan of it, though. The 1960s Peacock Blue or the Arcadian Blue would have been better. No need to reinvent the wheel with horrible color choices.

Velocity Blue is like that generic navy blue metallic you’d find on compact sedans trying to be sporty - nice for a Nissan Sentra, not so much on a Ford Bronco. I find Ruby Red to be pretty generic as well, but it’s a bit more tolerable on a Bronco than VB.

Man, this might be the worst color offering for the Bronco since its release!

I bought a used Carbonized Gray 2 door 7 speed because I wanted a 7 speed and a 2 door and they are hard to find. Carbonized Gray is boring. I love the Bronco, but after owning a Magnetic Metallic F-150, which is pretty much the same color, it dawned on me that Ford just changes the colors slightly and gives them different names.

I don't buy new cars often, mostly used, so I rarely get to choose the specific color. My choice.

I suppose if you have a OF on order you could just cancel and hope they have OF in '27.

This is where I’m at. I was going to get a velocity blue until they announced orange fury but now that they’ve teased it I guess my GT can do daily duty for another year. I just realllllllly hope they don’t yank the 7 speed for 2027. I’m kinda thinking it might not make it past the refresh.
I get to save a bunch for first day mods, which is nice I guess.

Not only do they drop Orange Fury, but then they force change the color to GREY! Sorry but Ford is one messed up bunch.
That grey is the primer under the Orange Fury that used to be an option.

Are we expecting a refresh in 2027? The Drive had an article from February this year that said the Bronco was selling so well that Ford was not considering changing it yet.

Probably not, but 6 years is actually a long time for Ford to not update anything. Maybe the 2025 update with the mpc 2.3, digital dash, and rear air vents on the auto was it.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that was the closest thing to a refresh we'll see for a while. I mean, its closest competitor, the Jeep Wrangler, has looked basically identical for the last 20 years!

Honestly, that doesn't bother me. Most of the "refreshes" that Ford's done I have not been high on. the SN95 mustang got worse, the S-197 mustang got worse, I can't speak to the 550 because I didn't like them out of the box enough to care how they were refreshed. I'd expect a bronco refresh to be a downgrade to be honest. I hope they surprise me, but I have my doubts. Ford seems kind of risk averse at the moment
