I got a call from my sales guy to see if I might be interested in a Ruby Red 60th Anniversary Bronco with a white top that he just got in. Sharp looking but just not my taste. Nemer in Queensbury if you're interested. (I think it's still there)

Hard pass! I can't figure out why both the 60th Anniversary and the Heritage are only available in the 4-door configuration. It totally the ignores fundamental original design aims that started it all: clean, uncluttered, classic lines with a shorter wheelbase.

And to most Jeep owners: I'm looking at you too.

It makes absolutely no sense. Let's create a 60th Anniversary Edition and a heritage edition using the model that didn't even exist until 5 years ago.

U P D A T E - I had to pay a visit to the dealership today for yet another recall on my wife’s explorer. While I was there I strolled through the showroom. The white 60th is still there and I have to admit, it looks much better in person. The 37” tires give it a beastly look. Anyway, still not hooked, my sales guy knows I’m a ruby red lover at heart. He tells me he has a ruby red Bronco raptor AND a ruby red 60th anniversary ordered. Build date of June 21st so he expects them to be delivered in late July. Supposedly, I have first refusal on both.

Lucky for my wife, as time passes, my desire to own one of them diminishes but it’s rattling around in my old retired noggin. My 2023 BD Sasquatch is about to turn 20k miles. Hmmmm…
