Would anyone be so kind as to clue me in on where in the capital forest this was? My wife and I are going out there tmrw afternoon to put around and it would be great to be able to have fun on something other than the well maintained logging roads!
Sorry I missed this the other day. They are correct- we set off from the Rock Candy Mountain trailhead and drove west on B-Line/Rock Candy Mountain Rd. towards Porter Pass. From there, you'll hit the powerlines which have a bunch of 4x4 trails braided underneath them. Those trails run all the way to the west boundary of the State Forest.
Were you able to find the trails when you went out there?

Best time we’ve had at capital, thank you for the help! Accidentally ended up on a walking trail.. the sign where we entered was missing. Saw it where we came back onto the road. I thought it was a bit of a tight squeeze 😂

Ended the day with a nice short waterfall hike.

(y) Very cool, glad it worked out! Great photos and the weather looks perfect for exploring the woods. Make sure to join up on the PNW Broncos Facebook group (if you haven't already) and check out the Events tab for more runs: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/18Q453quks/
