The folks in charge of the BroncoDriverMagazine social channels don't believe me when I shared about the Roaring Fork opening today. I told them the official website hasn't been updated. But just go to the LeConte Lodge social media to see. They operate a shuttle for hikers to access the Trillium Gap/Rainbow Falls/Bullhead trailheads which are located off Roaring Fork. They received the notification via the NPS employee meeting earlier this week.
Hate I couldn't make it up this year, last year was so much fun. Looks like less rain. ha ha!I'm working on submitting a new route to Tom for next year.

Townsend tn to Tellico Gap nc via 129, into Tellico, then back up thru Cherokee on 441.
Think of Tellico Gap as the dragon, but on dirt... And a single lane.
What we were told was water and fire damage and gvmt shutdown slowing repairs.
So look out for large hairy men wearing leather...Bear attacks??
