I wanted a whole skid plate setup for my 25, Badlands Sasquatch 4dr. But it already had some under body protection. I know it's not amazing stuff - but the engine and transfer case skids felt pretty beefy IMO.
I digress. I really didn't see many posts about getting JUST the transmission skid installed. They were running a special on free catalytic converter guards so I pulled the trigger. Just a couple things.
1. You will remove and discard (or keep in the OEM pile of my garage) the stabilizer disconnect skid plate. I installed it with it still there and it doesn't fit.
2. You don't really need to remove the transfer plate skid as the instructions say - just the one bolt.
3. You need to drop the engine skid so it sit on top of the transmission skid. This is so you don't get hung up and you also fully seat the bolts.
4. Those things aside- I love the company and the skids. Also put on the x-member skids because those get crushed when you're wheeling.
Thanks @RCI Offroad for a great product!
