We love Broncos but… what’s the most annoying “small issue” with your Bronco?

Only thing so far is the headlight knob placement. When I get out my knee sometimes turns the knob and switches lights from auto to on. Very minor annoyance it's just a quirk.

No other real complaints. I'm coming out of driving Jeeps for the last couple of decades so that likely contributes to a lack of gripes.

After driving a 4 cylinder soft top 97 Wrangler for 5 years with barely functional heating, or other Jeeps with awful noises, death wobble, weird quirks, I guess I tend to not be concerned by a little rattle in my off road rig.
😂 yeah, coming from that, the bar is set a little differently.

A small quirk like that probably doesn’t even register after dealing with things like death wobble and no heat.

Do you find yourself appreciating the little things more because of that, or just used to rolling with whatever comes with it?

WOW - 8 pages of complaints in less than a day. I guess there's a LOT to dislike about something you'd be willing to cough up $50+K for. lol

For me, hands down, it's the wind noise from the top/roof rack/etc. over 40MPH.
😂 yeah, a bit surprised how quickly this took off… guess it just shows people care about them.

That wind noise seems to come up a lot though — especially once you’re up to speed.

Soft top rear hatch and how it opens. Everyone involved with the design should have been fired.
Dumbest means of rear access to a vehicle ever. That's bad-intern-level design.

Most annoying is the double honk if you leave the car running with the key in your pocket. Haven't found a way to disable it, but man is it annoying.
Forscan.... That was the first change I made. took 10 minutes.

I'm pretty much immune to being irritated by the little things at this point.

I have a collection of older cars that I am constantly repairing, chasing problems, replacing old parts that wear out, etc. When u drive and repair older vehicles as a hobby you get used to ignoring the little things is what I've noticed with myself.

That double chirp is the most annoying thing. Always happens at the wrong time and people think your trying to get their attention. It was the first thing I had removed with FORSCAN.
It is so embarrassing. Our Chevy truck has it too but it's a setting you can turn off just in the infotainment.

I hate that there is no center pass through for the rear seats to put skis through while still being able to seat four people in the car - especially for people with soft-tops who don't have good options for roof racks.

Not talking major problems – just the stuff that slowly gets under your skin over time.

Could be:
  • windshield chips
  • Interior rattles
  • Road noise
  • Something random you didn’t expect
Curious what’s been the most annoying “little thing” for you so far.
My pet peeve is the rattling and road noise. I bought something to cover the inside of the roof with. Will properly affix my speakers and insulate the doors. These are things I can do myself easily.

But I have a dead battery they sold the car with, and a window that's not sealed properly (Driver's back), and those are dealer issues... once I have time.

The windshield issue applies to any and all cars with this windshield angle, so it's definitely not a Bronco specialty.

That's a BMW thing. But you can easily put a roof rack on or even a side molle panel that can handle that. IMHO, it's somewhat dangerous to put skis in the car with their sharp metal edges, but that's just me. I have a dog, so I try not to do anything like this.

Audi had it and other brands used to also. Such a no brainer.

You may not be a skier, but it is always preferable to put your skis in the car and just us a rack when you need. it.

There are two things that cause me driver fatigue on long trips: constant steering input, and constant loud noise. I thought switching from a 2022 Jeep Wrangler to a Ford Bronco would improve both those characteristics, but I was sorely mistaken. The Bronco is so obnoxiously loud on the highway. I tried everything to fix it. Even bought a $5,000 aftermarket hard top. It was just excessivley loud. The Bronco also rattles like crazy, and the frameless windows are hot garbage. I spent 3 years chasing one issue after the next.

I went back to a 2026 Jeep Wrangler, and they have made big improvements. I much prefer a little more driver input than the constant effing noise tornado. God bless you if you like your Bronco sounding like an open toolbox rolling down a hill when you get groceries.
