If anyone needed any indication of how my luck works, here you go.

Been waiting nearly a month to write a check for a 25 Stroppe that I wanted to buy on 3/13 (Friday the 13th, mind you). The salesman had waited until I was over halfway through a 1.5 hr drive to see it to call and say I couldn't buy it due to the stop sale. So, I looked it over and decided I wanted it and I've been semi patiently waiting until now.

As we all know, this seemed to have dropped later in the day yesterday. Well, my salesman was off yesterday (aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggg) but actually checked in at lunchtime to see if anything changed. So of course he didn't know anything had happened even TODAY when I called after 1pm to ask him if he was aware of the update. Because, you know, I'd kind of like to get the vehicle I picked out a month ago that's sitting on the lot. He said he'd let the manager know so TOMORROW might be a good day for me to get it. Again.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggg Are these guys sitting around jamming bubble gum in their ears all day? Actually, I remember working at dealerships when I was in college and it wasn't the best place to develop your work ethic..... lol

So while you're all rejoicing about the update, remember your friend Craig. I'll be the one quietly sobbing in the corner for the time being.

This is why I took my 1000 dollar deposit off of the 25, drew a line in sand for the 7th and when I saw it still wasn’t done at none said screw it and just bought a 26 raptor instead of a 25.

With my salesman being on PTO this week, I had to pursue a sales manager to get a response. They have the fix on my '25, but not confirmed that the repair is complete, but will make sure the truck is ready for Friday morning with the tune. Fingers crossed, kinda still frustrated, but we will see.

This sucks so bad! How frustrating.!

One benefit of waiting the extra month is I ended up with a better deal since the rebates were better now than a month go. After all is said and done, picked mine up this afternoon and ended up getting an extra $2k off… so I’ll take it.

Called two local dealers for fix. They said they need the whole day? They both stated ford fix letter says hour to hour and a half.
one said they are finding some taking 5 to 6 hours. The other said up to 8 hours.
g
both stated most take about 2 hours. How slow are these computers?

also have a questions, are they re up loading the whole bronco program or just an update? I had a dealer install the hitch and flash the electric. Will that be lost if they put it back to factory setting by vin or should the wire already be added to my vin.

It seems the recall remedy has been released through an OTA update. My 2025 Bronco just did the update herself.

Do you have to sign up to get these up dates? I have mine to auto update. When i called the dealer they made no mention of it? Some can be updated over air and some need updated at dealer?
