No V-6 Two Doors??

I picked the 2 door 7 speed because that's what I liked. My wife has the 4 door because grandbaby (neither of us are boomers, lol). But, if the 4 door is better, then this is 50% better than the 4 door.

The two door with the 2.7 is available in the Stroppe model only-- been that way since 2025. The Auto 10 speed is the same transmission no matter which engine you choose.

No, for 2026 it became a 4-door. In 2026 2-door models were 4-cyl only. Don't believe me, check out the build and price tool on Ford's website.
For 2027 rumor is there is no 2-door model.

I've explained this in many other threads - we are lucky to have had a 2-dr at all. The tooling to build one costs just as much as the tooling to build a 4-dr, but it comes as a loss to the company because they knew from the start that the 2-dr would be a niche vehicle and wouldn't sell in high numbers. They were depending on the 4-dr model's sales covering the loss on that tooling. I believe that the number crunchers always knew this, and planned to drop the 2-dr completely once the tooling was paid off - because they certainly weren't going to pay for another set of tooling that they'd never recoup the cost of.

When the refresh comes, there won't be a 2-dr. Mark my words.

Everything at Ford is part of their class system and their class warfare tactics are serious.

Two-door Broncos were deemed Boomers for actually looking like the original Bronco. Ford is now run by the had-it-too-easy class and they all have issues with their parents, so they have to hate on the two-doors that remind them how good things used to be before they were born.

Then, Braptors are the nepo babies born on third base acting like they hit a triple and they got big mad when a two-door V6 Badlands with a tune didn't sandbag the stoplight race and let them win as big as they have been used to doing their whole lives. So, they hate the two-doors too.
