I suggest you take a dirt bike or ebike on a hitch carrier to scope trails out first especially in western mountains ....you'll be shocked at how brutal that are and how relatively fragile any mass market 4X4 is. I have seen many burn out, wrecked and heavily damaged ones even a simple side scratch is $4000 paint work.....

I did Tennessee in July and it was awesome. Truly a fantastic experience start to finish. The trails do get a bit tight and its more technical and slow than others I am sure but I would 100% do Tennessee again.

I chose Moab because I’m from the Northeast, it is unlike anything we have around here and I’m dying to explore more National Parks since visiting AZ just two years ago. Everything down that way is pure eye candy! My trip is in mid-May…
