I have one on my shelf at home waiting to get installed. Not sure if that counts LOL. I've been running the ICON non-winch bumper for a few years, just waiting for some shop time to swap bumpers.

For the record, I work for ICON so I don't usually comment on our stuff from my personal account unless specifically asked. But if you have any questions about the product let me know, and I can jump into my @Dusty at ICON alter ego to help you out.

Yeah it's a very nice bumper I think. It's high clearance with good angles and tucks the winch in nicely. I'm not sure why it's never really caught on with the masses. Maybe because it doesn't have built-in light mounts, and we all know how much everyone loves having a bunch of lights LOL.

Two reasons why this bumper won't work for me: the winch sits too low, impacting the approach angle; there is no accommodation for adaptive cruise control, which came with my Bronco.

I generally like Icon products, though - I run their wheels, suspension, track bar, and tie rods.

Maybe revive this thread and get more experienced responses. Seriously looking at this bumper but haven’t seen solid reviews. I don’t have ACC or need the super duper approach angle. Locking at the Icon or the JCR Vanguard. Thanks for any real experience with this Icon bumper.

@Eric and Trail Dog PNW The winch version rocks! There are very few trails I've ran that this bumper touches anything and I climb a lot of ledges. It has great approach angle on it. I love how if you add the engine skid & the diff skid, it triangulates the load and adds a lot of strength vice just mounting to the questionable strength of the frame horns. It also keeps good airflow to the intercooler.
Plenty of pics can be found in my trip reports 🤠

I like that clean design. If this bumper design was around back when Brave Offroad still was, might have gone with it instead. Can you still get your hand on the line with the camera relocation bracket?

Noticed any reduction in windshield pain with the hood deflector? If so, which one is it?

I forget what camera relocation I used, I think JCR but no issues after adding a check valve to the washer line.
Ford branded deflector, I think Lund makes it. Helps a lot with bugs. Some still get through but nothing like before. Hood futters a bit a speed if that bothers you.
HTH 🤠

I really appreciate the feedback. Just ordered the winch version like yours from Steeda who has a significant discount running. Also ordered the aluminum front skid. Now to pick the winch.

I don’t have any front sensors/camera so a bit less to mess with for electronics but with my capable bumper I do have OEM fog lights. May too mount some 6”round lights next to the winch tray and wire to the factory fog’s wiring.

The next issue will be to address the suspension height lost due to the added weight. May go Bilstein 6112’s all around and go 1.5” for now.

I’m a retired USN Seabee and I thank you Marine!

@Eric and Trail Dog PNW I don't think you will be disappointed. It is also drilled & tapped on the top to support a push bar, lights or whatever. I just plugged them.

Let us know what you think when you get it installed.

I work with a lot of Seabee's retired & active. I imagine you spent some time at NBVC 🤠.

Thanks again for the information. Looking forward to building this Bronco out and personalizing it.

I was on Hueneme from 08 thru my retirement at the CB museum in 2019. We may have crossed paths.
