BUT cracks are just one problem with the hard top.
Incessant creaking and deafening wind/road noise are unacceptable annoyances that should have certainly been fixed by now. It would be extremely easy to remedy these issues if Ford actually wanted to (or cared). Their bean counters evidently tell them that it will ultimately cost less to just ignore these issues.
