Over the weekend I scooped up this 2021 Area 51 Badlands with the 2.3L and 7MT. I have three kids and the car seats were just not fitting in the back of the Civic Si. Two Graco SlimFix3LX and a Turbobooster 2.0 fit great in case anyone else is in the market for a Bronco as a dadmobile.
She came on the 37s. I test drove a few other Broncos, but I really liked how this one drove and the spec and price were spot on. I may wind up swapping down to 35s at some point, but for now it’s a hoot tooling around on the monster truck tires and I think it looks pretty sweet.
When I was a kid I learned how to drive stick in my dad’s Bronco II in the church parking lot. I took my driver’s test in my mom’s 1994 Bronco. Our family had so many fun memories in those rigs, and I am excited for the memories I am going to make with my wife and kids in this beast.
