Just keep posting them! That Bronco is beautiful and if the hood was not black, the rear would look really odd. But it compliments the front end looks really cool. Kudos to Ford for bring back the Bronco and then rolling out this special edition that evokes the historic racing history of this iconic vehicle. Damn that looks good and I can't wait to see one in the wild!
Thank you !!

Having seen one in person, I’ll say the matte black hood and tailgate are simply cool. The blacks break up the colors, which are a bit over the top, and give it a real racing vehicle look. More tough, less showy. Good choices all around, although I’ve never been a fan of white interior elements in something designed to get dirty. I hope to cruise down and visit the OP later this month. More pics will follow!
Which off road racing vehicles have a blacked out rear?

Just saying from an aesthetic/brandin perspective it contributes to an overall look and feel of being functional and utilitarian, not showy—when in reality it may be actually the opposite. 😎

I'm my opinion, which is worth precisely zero, for missed on 3 things visually.
The black tailgate, no white on the roof, and the wheels.

Your rigs are amazing, standing O from me, really.

I’d only say the new Stroppe edition is not trying to be a replica, but it’s an “inspired by” variation. The vast majority of the market they’re trying to appeal to with it doesn’t have the knowledge you do about the original, nor do they really care about any exacting fidelity to the original Stroppe racer. The reference is enough, and the more important job is just making it look unique, contemporary and worth the price tag. Does a matte black tailgate contribute to that? Hard to say. When I saw It in person I thought the matte vs gloss paint details were very unusual and cool. It’s eye catching. Not too many other people on the road see the hood, so I can understand the logic of painting the tail.

I know, just kinda irks me that they have the license and resources to do it up right and didn't.
At least if I come out of Walmart and there are 8 Stroppe Editions I will still be able to pick mine out. 🤣
But I AM happy that they are paying homage to the Bronco history.

Why do you concern yourself so much? I have owned my Stroppe Edition for four days and I absolutely love EVERYTHING about it. It is all a matter of preference. For you to say FORD didn't do it right is nonsense. That is YOUR opinion, period. There are several things on your rig that I absolutely dislike, but I am not the kind of guy who would ridicule someone else's vehicle. IMHO, FORD nailed it 1000% on the Stroppe Edition! I am putting on a KC Light Bar early next week, and then it is time to enjoy it all summer!

And the wrong grille, which should have been the heritage grille. I also think that the heritage grille on the Stroppe would look better in Argent silver as opposed to white.

There are quite a few people not thrilled with mine. 🤣
I love their clown car comments.
But a lot more love the look.
Enough that it trophied at Super Celebration.

The Stroppe Edition is polarizing, as I'm sure you have noticed online, mine even more so.
I did mine around a year and a half ago with no idea Ford would do their version of a Stroppe.
I was, and still am, thrilled that they did so.
I just feel that they made strange choices.
They kept the white on the A pillars/windshield surround but didn't carry it back on the roof. They were almost there.
Kudos on the Code Orange paint.
The tailgate being a strange touch.

Trust me, I'm not slamming the Stroppe Edition. For the most part I LOVE it.
Most people have things they wish were different on the Broncos.
From engines, to transmissions, to colors, to wheels, to option packages.

If they hadn't set out to emulate a certain vehicle from their past,I likely would have zero issues with what they are offering.
But they did, which opens it up to comparisons.

There are maybe 4 of us, that I know about, who beat Ford to the punch... And I'm pretty sure we are thrilled to see Ford do this.

Again, I love your ride and am not bashing on it
It is a mass production vehicle designed by committee, it is hard for that to please everyone.
Then again pleasing everyone is pretty much impossible.

Argent silver Heritage grill with the edges in code orange. 👍

And it gives me a starting point to fix it the way I want it fixed (a better match to the original paint scheme), but hey, that's just me.

Good talking with you at Supercall.
