I can see it now, my kids gonna stick crap in through the holes and drop it inside. :ROFLMAO:
I don't even want to imagine what my kids would do?

The front leather seats look hammered. I stopped optioning for leather seats 10 years ago and went back to synthetics or cloth - they just hold up so much better over the long term. Those pictures will keep me from checking the leather option box once again.

European car leather always seems better and tighter to me - lasts longer - anyone know why ?

I didn’t see anyone else mention this but the Driver’s seat shows power seats. I don’t recall seeing power seats as an option. ?‍♂
Did you check Ford's web site?

This is from the Badlands page...

Lets hope for much better. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that American car interior plastics are super cheap made. The plastics on most imports I’ve owned are always much better quality.

And man is this some ugly cheap trim or what!?

Preproduction model without any texture to the plastics, which production will obviously have.
Textured plastic? This thing looks like dog crap. Now I know why they want us to place orders from "computer generated" images. I need to see this thing in person before I put any serious money down.

Another accessory possibly? Or with maybe an option to not have the netting?

maybe a dumb question...but Ford doesn't fabricate & upholster the seats themselves do they? Is it at all logical to assume what we're looking at are likely the final seating products from their supplier?
huh... in the olden days, all the manufacturer's had their own shop... but I guess I've never thought about it until you mentioned it! I think it would make sense to outsource, but only if the upholstery shop was in an adjacent area to assembly; otherwise, the trucking would be nonstop.

To answer your real question: I have to think, just like with paint colors, that what we see is what we will get for this production run. This stuff has to be ordered in huge quantities, and waaay in advance of production, just to be able to get the materials and dyes into their stock!

Let me know if someone has a better guess about this stuff.

And surely Ford can do better than this steering wheel hub. It just doesn’t look right at all. About as bad as our ‘67 Mustang horn button o_O

One does not simply throw a bunch of parts into an engine block and take photos...this is folly.

I would’ve preferred the soft MOLLE (like the Sport) but overall glad that they are adding it, also wish it went to the top.
