Completed the Under Hood Sound Deadening, using aluminum for added thermal insulation!

First of all I have a question that has not been addressed, I see some people have Under Hood Sound Deadening and some don't, what should I use to tell which Bronco's have it? Hope someone can resolve my doubts

I made the two different states of Under Hood Sound Deadening, the first with sound-absorbing sponge front and back and the second with sound-absorbing sponge back and aluminum front

Under Hood Sound Deadening using aluminium will be given better thermal insulation

Use 13 plastic rivets to fix it, just insert it directly into the hole

I didn't waste this work and updated my design for Bronco in the form and will continue to update and check your suggestions

I’ve wondered what sound actually needs deadening - since it’s such a quiet vehicle - but, I think it looks nice and more finished. Excited to see what you finalize. I don’t have one since I’m Black Diamond. I read that factory OEM is around $150 + mounting hardware.

sponge foam not enough have a rated with fire protection, it's just basic

It may only be the various sounds in the cabin. The main purpose is flame retardant. This may not be a great product. At present, it seems that not many people have any ideas about it.

Your door pockets and center organizer are solving very real issues with the vehicle that people can easily observe. They improve the vehicle's functionality in large ways for relatively little money.

The Bronco is already a very noisy vehicle; it's hard to believe this underhood part will have any real impact on in-cabin engine noise levels (which is why it is usually applied). I know it's offered on Hi Pkg OE, but I believe it was applied as more of an appearance than function part - part cost was probably less than $15 and it dresses up the engine bay, which is needed.

Yes, sometimes this part is required for heat shielding, but if Broncos can be built without it (both 4 cyl and 6 cyl) then we know it is not required for hood thermal protection.

Mabett you are doing a good job addressing Bronco (and peoples!) concerns, I'm impressed how quickly you can incorporate feedback, update models and prototype.

Plus - it's hidden under the hood so you can't show it off! Everyone likes showing off cool parts on their ride!

Limited audience/customers, and I know it won't serve a real purpose, but geesh. That's a mess under the hood. For $60k? Look pretty!
