    Those 2wd 4Runners are known as “pre-runners” and are *extremely* popular in the south eastern US and as rentals. I think a 2wd 2door bronco would sell very well for people looking for a ”fun” weekend care they take out on nice days.

    Was it parked someplace where the sun was reflected and focused on that part of the Bronco? (in MA, windshield replacements are covered for free under vehicle insurance, so at least we don't have to pay... might be worth checking to see if your insurance covers glass if the warranty doesn't)
