Love the idea and execution. I have been sorta doing this with the IAG winch mount which requires me to swap out the brackets which isn’t ideal. I am curious as to what the hooks/mounts look like without the winch installed. Do you have a picture of them on the truck with no winch plate?

I bet you money they didn't hook the proximity sensor back up on one of the side panels on the trunk. I would start with the drivers side panel...

Question for those who have installed this: once installed, is it possible to adjust the clip location by compressing the springs? also, consensus seems to be the ride quality is much better than stock?

It was cut to install and is not visible after it is installed.
