  1. Eye Ring connections for battery charger/maintainer

I tried moving my remotes far away but maybe not far enough. I'll put them in a faraday cage and repeat the experiment in a few weeks.
  2. Eye Ring connections for battery charger/maintainer

I have a 23 F250 with dual batteries and a battery charger pigtail wired in. Works great and no drama. I wired in a pigtail to my 25 badlands 2.7 lux. This is where I noticed the weirdness. Both pigtails were wired into the body ground (post BMS). On the bronco, as long as I'm putting...
  3. iDash Pro software update, oil pressure added

I have the iDash data monster in my 2023 SD, I hope they add oil pressure as well.
  4. iDash Pro software update, oil pressure added

I hope oil temp makes it to the next release. Should be easy for them. Exhaust gas temp would be my next choice entering or exiting the turbo. I'm not sure what "EGR Bank 2 Sensor 1" is other then it's the exhaust gas recirc temp on bank 2 and one of the sensors.
  5. iDash Pro software update, oil pressure added

I saw there was a software update on Jan 15ish and installed it today on my 2025 BD 2.7L. They added a PID for oil pressure. Before asked, mine is showing 28-30 PSIG at hot idle (coolant 185F or so).
  6. Looking Ahead to 2026 — What’s the ONE Bronco Product You Wish Existed?

A transmission pan with both a stand-pipe for level setting and drain plug.
  7. Tailgate Reinforcement Install

    Curious how it fits?
  8. When to use 4A (AWD ?) vs. 4WD in snow?

I follow this simple rule.... If all tires are going to be in snow, 4H. Only some of the tires in snow 4A. Road conditions dictate. If all tires are in snow, I see no positives of having my transfer cases engage and disengage the clutch pack constantly. If it is deep snow, I'm likely to...
  9. Transfer case replacement screwup

I would connect the vent line with clamp (maybe you need one). Spray out the connector and surrounding area with brake clean. Put a little dielectric on the outside of the male part of the connector plug and reconnect. Remove the fill plug and refill till it to the threads. Watch for future...
  10. stock tires in snow

The 3P Goodyear RTs on my SAS are doing quite well here in CO. Just as well as my 3P KO2s on my FJ.
  11. Tailgate "Reinforcement"

They are not all equal, that is for sure. As a general rule, you want thick, a full circle for the cone that the spare bolts too, a full panel to both hinges, and low weight (hard to meet). When I replace my tires on the SAS, I'lll likely go with tires at least 10lbs heavier but will keep the...
  12. Tailgate "Reinforcement"

There are two main load issues when you put weight on the tailgate. The first is direct shear that translates to the hinges wanting to bend them and/or their mounting points. The second is the buckling that can occur on the face of the tailgate itself. The tailgate skin can easily buckle...
  13. 2024 Coolant low? 2.3L

It may take longer to understand my own issue. I thought I was completely air free at 4k miles and scheduled the appointment for Jan 5th. After another top off, the level has stabilized again and no further coolant is being consumed/leaked. I did notice the flange bolt on the coolant line...
  14. Antifreeze recommendation

The colors are dyes. Don't trust color alone, look at the specs on the bottle. Mixing the wrong chemistries can have catastrophic effects.
