The Bronco Sport now has a Sasquatch package, in case any body wanted to know.
This thread is four years old. Based on what I've seen around here, about half seem to have the Sasquatch package. And even though there are a lot of off road places to go around here that are fairly close, a much...
And that's what I DON'T want in a personalized license plate, something that isn't obvious right away. All five of my current plates are obvious at a glance.
Unless something changed recently in California, you only get seven letters. So GLVEFITZ would be a no go.
Even if you could get it, I think it's kind of lame. ;)
Just one tip - turn on the air conditioner.
I meet people in side-by-sides up in the hills on hot days and I'm thankful that I can select the temperature that I want inside my Bronco. And when I'm on one of my motorcycles up there, I'm often thinking that I should have gone in the Bronco.
You can always try what works for my convertible Mustang - wear a hat with a brim that can also work as a sun visor. In that case it works for sun coming in at all angles, like from the side, where I can't put a visor.
I'm 6'1" and don't have an issue with the visor sticking down too far, but...
Just to be sure, I would go with a set of chest waders that the fly fishermen use.
But I've rarely gone through anything even a foot deep and it wasn't mud. It comes with living in the high desert.
My bigger concern is if for some reason I had to walk out of where I'm taking the Bronco, what...
This is how I did mine. I basically wanted the most four-wheel-drive features for the least money, so mine is a 2-door Base Sasquatch. I added mud flaps after the first few outings, because it obviously needed them. And I removed the roof rack, which is now on my son's 2-door Base Sasquatch...
You're doing it wrong.
I drove mine up a rough muddy hill the day I bought it, just to clarify that I bought it to be driven off road in dirty, muddy conditions. Then I had to figure out how to get the mud back out of the fender wells, etc. :sneaky:
This is it, the same day I bought it:
At some point I expect to have the only Bronco with the original badge. I can see wanting to change a Badlands or Wildtrack badge, but the Sasquatch badge was already pretty rare.
I take mine off road quite a bit and I don't bother with the GOAT modes. I just select which version of 4-wheel-drive that I need and leave it in normal mode. I occasionally hit the lockers as needed - rear through loose sections where I don't need to be in 4L, and front and rear on occasion...
I went two miles to pick mine up, that I had ordered a full year before it showed up. This is it before I took possession of it, next to one of my other red Fords.
