  1. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

We were so focused on driving and getting to the finish line, we didn’t get a lot of photos of video. Next time we need to bring a media team! Here’s our recap podcast:
  2. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

We ran thru a full tank during the first lap (150 miles) and needed a little top off from our fuel cans, so we could make it to a gas station open 24 hours around 1/4 way thru second lap. Topped off at the end of the second lap (another 150 miles), and ended up with about 1/2 tank after the...
  3. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

The word of the weekend was CARNAGE! Didn't get any details of how or why the fire started, but we heard it was contained fairly quickly and no one was hurt.
  4. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

I've done them in both 2 and 4 door Broncos. Both perform great on the tight trails. I would never take a raptor, as it can be too side (and I've seen the fender flares come off).
  5. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

Lot of the Ohio trails are pretty intense, but there are plenty of gravel/backroads in SE Ohio. Checkout the trails on OnX app,
  6. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

I hit ice on an asphalt road and ran into a utility pole (stupid). The only apparent damage was the front quarter panel, mirror, and hood. Truck ran fine. Ended up being some deflection in the passenger A-pillar, so they totaled it. The only thing missing from the 4Dr-BD was the sway bar...
  7. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

Living in Ohio, we have some good trails in our state, but the crown jewels are West Virginia and Kentucky. We are so lucky they are close by. The Danial Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB) has over 100 miles of roads and trails alone https://ridethedbbb.org/ You can check out the Facebook page...
  8. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

This is my 5th 24 Hour event. Completed two (WV x2), failed one (KY24), and totaled my first Bronco during one. The full schedule is here: Look into it and let me know if you have any questions.
  9. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

The orange chain was our recovery gear! (Not really. Most of us decorated the rigs for Halloween and had a trick or treat event with the local community). The black wire is the winch wire. We had just tugged a rough area and want to be prepared if there was another one close by. Thanks for...
  10. 24 Hours of Appalachia Rally - 45 rigs started but only 10 finished

We just completed the toughest ride in our life in a 2021 2Dr Badlands (with Wildtrak 35s). This event pushed the limits of adventure while raising funds for the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway, Buckhorn Children & Family Services, and Backroads of Appalachia...
  11. Recall 25S01 - Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion *🚨Repair now available*

Mine needed "fixed" (appointment last Friday), but they don't have the sleeve. Should have it this week.
  12. Ford Winch - Dealer Install

So I purchased the Ford winch from the Ford Accessories shop with a good coupon from Ford. Dealer installation was cheaper than the last one I had installed at a local off-road shop (another Bronco), so it seemed like an easy choice. Now I find out the dealer has NEVER installed a winch on a...
  13. 2025 Freewheeling Velocity Blue with Black Diamond and Sasquatch packages

The stripes were great quality. Very happy with the quality. They were from here: https://9livery.com/collections/diy-liveries-decals just make sure YELLOW is on bottom (the correct, Ford way)
