@Eldowerks finally doing the write-up and pics…
Read the forums about cracked roofs, some on their third or fourth roof, and was glad I didn’t have it - until discovering cracks and warping drying my roof in February. Brought it to the dealer immediately, since I had 33k and I’m coming up on 3...
Didn’t understand either - until my 23 cracked in February. Always garaged, Colorado had no winter this year. Ford wouldn’t replace the rear cap (not enough honeycombing) and I only have 3k left on my 3/36, so I got the front panel replacements and drove straight from the dealer to Line-X.
Installed the 500.1 over the weekend with Kicker 8" 2 ohm wired in series (4 ohms resistance), Gearshade box, 4 gauge power, Enfig harness to replace non-B&O factory sub (RCA connections). Ground is bare metal. DC Offset is on (may use remote wire on the harness, but we'll see), input is Lo...
Had the same experience as you, @Anvilair1973. Was part of the “Nope, not me” crowd until the cracks showed up end of February. Ford replaced front and center panels, said rear was not a problem although it’s honeycombing. Less than 4k left on warranty, so when the new panels came in last Monday...
Mine took about a week, and then another week for the insulators. Ford didn’t approve rear cap, but based on your story @Fargrim I think I’ll get the front panels replaced and Line-X everything. I’m 4k and 2 months from warranty end.
I thought the exact same thing - until this weekend. Middle panel cracked in multiple places, and front right looking like it’s starting. Honeycomb on all panels. Mine’s been parked inside. For those who used Rhino liner with a new top, do you believe that’s made a difference for durability?
I know this thread is almost a year old, but didn’t find anything newer…does anyone know if Oracle solved the spacer issue, especially for the left light? Looking to install this weekend and want to know if I need to buy some. Thanks!
I owned a PDR shop in Colorado for several years, and I feel your pain. I’d tell you that your rates will go up anyway because everyone around you is getting their cars fixed, but I hate insurance companies and if it’s just 5 or 6 it’s not worth it. If you go the PDR route, I strongly recommend...
I got the Weathertech. I’ve used the black side facing out in winter, and it definitely helps with the cold:

Installed the rack today. @BroncoRaptorEd I see what you mean with the feet. I used some leftover Soundskins for additional padding; maybe that helps. @Spicygb and @BroncoRaptorEd are you concerned about the silver crossbar for the wind deflector contacting the paint near the middle of the bar...
