I live in northern Colorado & grew up in MN, so I understand real winter.
I can speak from experience that ice accumulation on Bronco signature headlights is real.
Have I done anything about it? No.
Unless Ford offers a winter package with an EOM headlight with a heated ring or something...
Some of the chain stores will price match if you ask and have receipts.
as others mentioned it’s the replacement warranty and ease of finding said retailer wherever you go that may differ.
I just buy tires online from simple tire and have them installed / balanced locally. I’ve never purchased...
Ha!!
Yeah, I’m hoping the smoke up in the Flat Tops won’t be too bad, but to be honest I expect it to be smoky. Kiddo wants to fish in the Flat Tops and I’ve never been up there so we are sticking to our plan. We live in Lyons and it’s pretty darn smokey outside lately…I can taste it. Good...
This weekend I’m headed up into the Flat Tops within CO’s White River National Forest. My daughter and I are going to explore for a few days and look for some fish. The Flat tops trip is more of a test trip for this rack. Then in Oct I’m headed back into the Maze District of Canyonlands National...
Other options tested. I have lots of old rotopax kicking around. I settled on the 4G because the larger singular tank was more stable when mounted. Shared structure if you will.
Due to Aux fuel needs for two upcoming trips I recently installed Trail Rax’s “stand alone Pax Rax” kit.
Installation was challenging at first because TR does not have instructions for this item & the old YouTube video featuring the 4D is wrong. After several emails with TR, I figured it out...
It lives….2door stand alone Pax Rax.
Installation was very challenging at first because TR doesn’t have instructions for this set up and the old YT video featuring the 4D is out of date and or just plain wrong. After many emails with TR they helped me work it out…mostly.
As far as I’m...
Kenda Klever RT’s (KR601).
Excellent tires for Colorado / Western US region. I daily drive my Bronco. I’ve had 5 sets of these tires in 3 different sizes on 3 different vehicles.
I had a set of Geolander MT’s in a 34, I found then to be small.
Based on your region I can not recommend the Kenda Klever RT KR601 more. They are awesome. Maybe more than you want but I have found them to be excellent on the pavement, very good in the snow and awesome
In the Maze.
