Just gave mine a once over. All ok
The sharp rocks I put my OEMs over are usually not large and fixed like those in your photos, but smaller and can roll and give a bit.
maybe 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the advice. I usually have traction control turned off, just because I don't want to sense anything odd while I'm driving. For example, I'm still not used to anti-lock brakes.
Lemme rethink the emergency situation with this high center of G (mass) vehicle while on...
Just watched this video. 'haven't seen it before, at first thought these guys were gonna be weird, but I liked most of what they said.... all but the part of having traction control off is for highly skilled drivers.
I usually turn it off but; me a "highly skilled driver"? HaHa ha ha! 🤣😆.
I understand your feelings well about getting back off the pavement and away from city lights.
I’ve spent many a starry night out in Borrego and Ocotillo; ‘87 Cherokee (stayed away from Comp Hill, haha).
One thing: maybe someone else here can explain the traction control settings while in...
I thought the biggest problem was neither the number of doors nor drawers in the Bronco, but the outrageous number of integrated chips and circuit boards to be relied on.

Use your experience about tire pressures to run.
Remember, if you split an innertube after taking a bitchin jump, then your pressure was too low. If you split a dried-up old sidewall after pumping up by really leaning on the pump handle, then your pressure was too high.
Oh, back to Broncos...
To avoid feeling stupid while sometimes having to look around each of my wheels 2 or 3 times for the valve stem, I've added some, "right here, ya dumb s#!t" indicators using nail polish.
I also split more kindling to add to the stacks of firewood I have in the garage.
Ready for fire ring...
Nice!
I remember when they used to launch full-sized gliders there with tow cables powered by an old car or truck engine. They had to yell at us dumb kids to get out of the way for take-offs and landings.
There were no crowds on the beach below for on "emergency" landing I saw once, then...
Tow Strap, Bow Saw, Bottle Opener with MOLLE attachments? Luhh-Kee!
(I like what you did!)
I went to some local forest roads the other day to test my advanced food storage and service systems. I think I need to work on them a little more.
'got the same thing.
I had a spare nut that happened to fit when I installed this bracket, and just measured it to be M6 x1.0 per Mitutoyo (caliper) -- if this helps anyone.
This is where I quickly clamp my MORRflate.
My milage keeps going down too, about 5mpg to 7mpg lower than the first 3,000 miles. No matter how careful I drive or road conditions. :curse:
OTA updates or something?
I have the OEM rack, and took the first cross bar off -- no MPG change.
(I have the cross bar off because I am working on...
