If you out at night you'll be able to see if the lights are working. Rear parking lights should be on when the lights are on in the RV. Braking should work when the brake peddle is applied (while RV running). Good luck!!!

Absolutely block it off -- that's used if you have air brakes.

No issues at all. Flat towing a 4 door 2022 Outer Banks with the 2.7L engine. I use a Demco Stay-n-Play configuration that's been great and have had no issues with it not braking when needed. We usually drive 7-9 hours a day and never had the battery die or not have the braking system...

Don't know, but I will say that the brake lights appear to be as bright when towing versus not towing. Guessing, I would say the diodes.

Bill - 2022 and 2023 will be the same if you have the HD capable bumper. Have over 1,000 miles flat towing and no issues at all. The best thing I did was get the stay-n-play supplemental brake system -- i literally just turn it on once I'm hooked up. Let me know if you need part numbers

My 2014 F150 has better XM reception! I'm doing the same thing with CarPlay, but I hate it chews my cellular data plan. Wish Ford can come up with a better solution!
