  1. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

That's what I'm thinking. I miss rowing my own.
  2. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

Yeah. I know how long the drivetrain warranty is. I just wanted to confirm that their "tumbling" issue was covered by that. I'm not familiar yet with that issue. Seems it should be since it appears to be internal to the trans.
  3. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

That's the kind of thing that concerns me. Was that "tumbling" transmission noise covered by the drivetrain warranty? I'm sure the b-to-b warranty has expired on the one I'm looking at.
  4. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

Thanks. I'll look over those sections.
  5. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

I'm looking at a 2022 Bronco Base with the 7 speed and a little over 20K miles. I've previously owned a 2023 Badlands 4dr and it was generally very reliable (with a couple of exceptions). Wondering what actual owners have experienced in reliability of the 2.3 engine and the 7 speed. Thanks in...
  6. Appropriate response to the thumbs up 👍

Just give them the A-OK hand sign. 👌 No! Wait! That's the "white power" hand sign. Wait! Is your Bronco white? Crap. I'm overthinking this (and so are you... just wave and smile. Wait! Don't smile! Nod. Wave. Single nod. Wait! Don't wave. Single nod, preferably while wearing dark...
  7. DTC P0420 - Check Engine Light for Catalytic Converter

Wouldn't hurt to try, so I did. I was having the same issue. Got on the interstate and drove North about 30 miles. Took each exit and then floored it on the entrance ramp to "blow out the cobs" as we used to say. The light did not go out while I was driving but I stopped at a store...
  8. DTC P0420 - Check Engine Light for Catalytic Converter

I'm curious how this came out. I have a '23 with about 24K miles on it. One cat was replaced at around 2k miles. For the last several months I will get the same intermittent check engine light/error code you are/were getting.
  9. Louisiana Area 51 Badlands

Hmm. Those look familiar. ;) Been a couple of times I wish I still had them on. Hit me up if you come to Arkansas to wheel.
  10. If you have installed Hella aux lights...

Great schematic. For a while I was confused why D and E didn't originate in the engine bay. That makes it much clearer than what's in the owner's manual. That should be a sticky in the "Lighting" forum in Bronco6g. Good link too. I didn't think to look over in Bronco Nation. Thanks for...
  11. 【New Launch】$15 Coupon for Houclemic Dome Light for Ford Bronco

Your dome lights don't show up on Amazon.
  12. If you have installed Hella aux lights...

Thanks very much for the responses, Brian_B. Appreciate it. I too always considered black the ground wire, which is why I described how I would wire it in to see if someone disagreed. I've attached a screen clip of the wiring diagram. They do say wire(s) 87 is black. Probably a moot point...
  13. If you have installed Hella aux lights...

I bought a pair of Hella 500 Black Magic lights, mainly for the nostalgia look. They came in a kit that included a wire harness, relay, and on/off switch. I've watch about a dozen wiring videos and searched the forum and I'm still kinda confused and have some questions. I've mounted them to a...
  14. Bronco EV Conversion

Good idea. But I think you missed my joke when I quoted the article. ;) I think regenerative braking is somewhat useful.
  15. Bronco EV Conversion

No thanks. It has "regenerative breaking". 😦
