Glad you didn't put your rear cam on the brake light like I did.
It shakes so much it's almost unusable as a reliable rear view mirror.
It's also terrible in the rain, and the headlight glare at night also makes things quite hard to see.
How are you faring with rain and night glare?
Wow, this is the dream trip for me (minus the hike).
I've been off roading for about 7 years now, and every time I go out it is a blast.
I'm glad you decided against the dunes alone; I was at Oceano Dunes this past weekend and almost got stuck in a sand bowl, everything wall was so steep I...
LOL I know that area quite well. I go to the Dallas WTC 30 times a year and I drive past the Medieval Times every time I leave.
But my Bronco lives in California and I just fly to Dallas for business; wish I could take a jab at that rock!
My installer saw my wires and said they were crap, so he replaced the wires with all heavy gauge wiring, and I ended up swapping out the upfitter switches to a SwitchPros because I needed more than 6.
Now I wish I got the 12 gang instead of the 8, but too late now.
All the solid state stuff was...
I walked into a car full of ash during the Anaheim Hills fire around 2008 because I had the sunroof tilted open. The poof of ash when I plopped down on my seat was pretty thick, and I was wearing a suit, too.
IF there was ever a time I was envious of someone/something, this is it.
Also, your photos are amazing; you're the real star of this post.
I have a similar road trip in my mind but from Los Angeles-Banff-Moab-Los Angeles but can't seem to find the time and correct people to go with. One day...
I'm not entirely sure how Manufacturer plates work, but the numbers and year tags on the BS Raptor (pun intended) being lower than the regular Sport are fishy to me.
Pretty sure it's a personal build with a Raptor badge.
Main giveaways are the BRONCO in the front grill instead of FORD, and the bolt on fender flares.
Added my pics.
Edit: Dealer just notified me that my warranty claim was denied due to the cracks in the MIC top... which was what I was claiming in the first place.
